Amazing album!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ray LaMontagne has yet to disappoint me, and he did not with this album. The album has a very rootsy feel to it. It is one of those rare albums that you can listen to from start to finish without skipping tracks. The song writing is fantastic, and Ray's voice is just as powerful as ever. It doesn't have the string or horn sections that you would find in his previous work. A nice addition was the use of a very haunting steel guitar on many of the songs. The musicianship is outstanding, and is reminiscent of his live sound. Buy this album and all of his others!!
