This was a great movie. It has vary cool action sequences and the use of CG for monsters and godly effects was really good. A must watch if you like Hero movies like Clash of the Titans and adventure movies

This is a decent movie. Its entertaining. Im glad i only paid $4 for it. It was a different type of movie.

The History of the Egyptian Religion in 3D. Unless you read and write hieroglyphics, you never heard this one before. Its Wrath of the Titans only all the Gods are with out legendary heroes so why not create some. And why not grant them special powers and make them bigger than ordinary people. Grant them special affects so they can battle ad nauseum and not expire. You will have a lot to learn and a lot to see. But you will come away with nothing to talk about except it had great affects. Don't bother with the story its just the platform for the movie. Completely untrue and fantasy.

This is a good movie over-all. Decent active, excellent special effects, ok story line (original story line as well). It would be scary for small children but not too much blood and gore for the initiated.

So the story in this movie was so so, hence the 4 star rating. I mainly bought this movie to test the 4K visuals with the new Xbox One S. Did not disappoint. Would recommend just for the amazing visuals

Buy it if your tv has HDR 10 OR HDRDOLBY and is a UHD OR A 4KTV otherwise you are wasting your money and your time be warned if you have all of those features you ended up in love with your content

Gods of Egypt is a big budget Action Epic that shines in Ultra HD. While the story and dialogue are average for this kind of film, the CGI graphics and battle scenes look fantastic in 4K HD.

The movie is entertaining as long as you don't go in expecting too much. It's great in its cheeseballiness. Great special effects. 3D was pretty good as far as 3D effects go. Worth the watch for that.

Beautiful movie with a decent premise but a predictable stoty arc and cliché ending. That by no means is a deal breaker but i did find myself in that mindset more than once while watching this movie.

Movie has decent special effects, and the story stays 'mostly' true to Egyptian mythology. Very predictable, though. However, still decent, light, entertainment. Not suitable for very young children.

This is a fantasy film that pits the Egyptian gods against one another in an unexpected way. I was impressed by the performances and the picture and sound of the 4K transfer is exemplary.

Not bad but also not the greatest, some pretty good visuals. Acting was ok. Maybe different choice of actors woulda made this movie better. The steelbook on the other hand IS SO PRETTY.

The movie gives more incite into the ancient Gods of Egypt than you get from most folklore . The story centers on a war between Osiris and Set and the battle scenes are something that is a must see.

I avoided seeing this movie because of some of the reviews I read. However, I decided to buy it because it was on sale and boy did I have a good time. It's pretty to look at and has a great pace.

Good action and an original story based on the Egyptian gods. Also has a good cast. The story and performances are compelling.

I actually really enjoyed this movie. I'm a fan of myth and folklores and it was refreshing to watch one based on Egyptian myth instead of Greek or Roman. Impressive effects showered the screen

This movie has beautiful packaging! The steelbook is truly awesome, Im loving all the Best Buy Steelbooks lately! The movie itself is full of adventure and has a great story that kept me entertained from beginning to end. Very interesting if you like mythology type movies or Egypt themed things, may not stick to the "lore" but still very interesting and worth watching!

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. It doea its job and entertained me. Plus it was a great price.
