Gods of Egypt is one of those movies that’s filled to the brim with blue-screen/CGI effects, so it lends itself to 3D pretty well. Steelbook packaging a nice bonus.

Dont listen to the critics, if you want to see a movie full of action and good humor or if your just looking to have a good time, watch this movie, you wont be dissapointed!

I'll make this short and sweet. If you go in with the idea that this is entertainment then it's a good movie. Full of action and just a nice movie to watch. My family enjoyed it.

The movie was a good one. The actors were a bit soft and the depiction of Egypt at that time is so far off. Never the less good action movie but could have been great.

I'm a big 3d fan and will give anything a shot in 3d - this didn't disappoint. Yes its fantasy and unbelievable but entertaining and visually striking. 3d is above average too.

I did not see this in the theater, but the cool steelbook packaging intrigued me. I found watching the movie on Blu-ray was fun at home. Entertaining and good special features.

Since I am not familiar with Egyptian mythology, I cannot comment on the movie’s authenticity. However, I am impressed by the concise introduction of the various gods and goddesses. There are plenty of action, monsters and special effects in this highly entertaining adventure. The movie has a good pace and very satisfying ending.

Okay okay,this may not be the best movie about historical times. But it's a good flick if you good into it without your thinking cap on. Like I said it's no 300 by far lol

The movie has amazing CGI. The story is interesting but the actors and actresses were the wrong choice for this movie. Didn't feel egyptian at all. Overall, good movie.

This is best of the ones I had chosen, used this to test 4K tv. Good story line as well. i bought this for the visual enjoyment and used this to test the 4k TV as well.

It’s a crazy action packed fun movie. It’s produced well and looks great. Nothing groundbreaking on story telling. Just a good action fantasy flick.

Most people said this movie was bad, so I had low expectations for it. I liked it. Not the greatest movie ever, but had really cool effects and I liked a lot of the action.

Had a great time with this thing. The visuals were tremendous, the 3D enhanced them, and the actors all played it with a light touch. Actually thought I heard the theme from "Lawrence of Arabia" playing as they trekked through the desert! Taken with the right spirit, this is an enjoyable movie. Critics be damned.

Wasn't sure if I would like this movie from the previews, but after watching it I was pleasantly surprised. The storyline was good, and the special effects were great.

People need to look past the casting and enjoy this movie for what it is, a fun action/adventure film with some great performances by some great actors.

it's a fun one. But after a point, this proudly silly film about gods and mortals in ancient Egypt devolves into an sword-and-sorcery-flavored riff on a weak Marvel movie.

If you love Sci-Fi and Ancient History, this one's for you. Great story line and decent graphics takes you back in time when both Man ands Gods roamed the Earth.

It was a big production, but some parts fell flat. However, overall, it was entertaining. I've always loved movies about Egyptian gods. This was enjoyable at least.

This movie is pretty good. It wasn't spectacular liked I hoped it would be. Don't know if I will watch again. Mainly bought the movie to add to my 4K Blu ray collection.
