This was a pretty good movie but nothing extraordinary. I would recommend renting this rather than buying it. I like Gerard Butler and that was the deciding factor for my purchase to add this to his other movies that I own.

Ever since the trailer first came out for this movie I have always been intrigued by it. A great movie full of adventure and fun.

Started kind if slow, but we loved it. Full of a lot of action and some history. Saw it three times the first week we bought it.

If you saw the previews you saw the best parts. Hubby did not like it but I did. Not a movie I would watch over and over again.

It's a decently entertaining film, but a shallow story and it's very inconsistent with the quality of CGI. Some CGI work is exceptional (such as the snake creatures) where other places it looks very low-budget, sci-fi channel reject (such as the beetle-pulled flying chariot). The story is okay, a rather basic hero doing anything for his love, but honestly he feels more like a bumbling lackey tagging along with Horus rather than any form of heroic character, surviving more by sheer luck than any form of skill he might possess. Like I said, it's decently entertaining, but there are better films of the same vein out there.

Enjoyed the way they built the story by mixing in the past down history. The acting is good and the CGI filming mix is better.

ignore any bad reviews and experience this state of the art sci fi flick for the visceral impact it will have on your senses!

I was a little skeptical at first, but after i bought it and watched it, it turned out to be a great movie.

It wasn't what I expected. I thought it was going to be one of those blood and guts type only fighting movies. But it wasn't.

Lot's of variety with a great cast. It's great to see a "Game of a Thrones" actor in a different role. Great special effects.
