love it. special effects were very good. loved it.

Maybe my expectations were too high for a Godzilla movie, but there wasn't much substance to the story. Seems like a waste to have such a great cast with very little need for strong actors. The CGI was great, but isn't enough in itself to draw you in.

I was eagerly awaiting the delivery of this movie as I'm a fan of all Godzilla stuff. I enjoyed 3D effects. The story line just was a little slow. I think that the total destruction of cities simply got old. I like the movie, it simply was not my favorite.

I was ready to love this movie as the trailers showed all 4 monsters, but unfortunately, this is one of those movies that hides the monsters. There is always rain, snow, and mist obscuring the monsters making it difficult to appreciate what is being shown.

Don't look for a good plot of fine acting in this one. It's strictly about the effects, and they don't disappoint! Found myself forwarding through the inane dialogue to get to the action. You can really see what your system is capable of with this one.

The monster fights were great but the storyline left a little to be desired. It looked fantastic in 4K UHD with Dolby Vision on my 75" Sony TV (everything does really) I was hoping for a little more based on the most recent Godzilla movie which I loved!!

This movie did not hit the mark. They need to decide what type of monsters Godzilla is going to be. He is friend to man. How long is that going to last. I believe they tried to put to much into a short movie. I give this movie 70 out of 100 as a fan.

This is the modern Godzilla movie we were all waiting for. The last Godzilla movie was disappointing. You get to see Godzilla for the first time in Hawaii for less then a minute, then they spend like 30 minutes having Godzilla swim to San Francisco. All the Godzilla action is at the end of the movie. This movie Godzilla King of the Monsters smashes expectations. It has so much action in it and shows that Godzilla is truly King of the Monsters. Now I am waiting for the modern version of King Kong vs. Godzilla!

Not as good as the previous film (2014's Godzilla). Too many special effects and destruction and not enough plot or soul. Didn't care for the human characters either. At times I felt as if I was watching a Transformers movie. A numbing experience.

Godzilla King of the Monsters is more of a suspenseful type of movie. Though there are some cool action scenes, but humans deciding Godzilla fate creates the plot. Several other monsters attack the planet and Godzilla is the only one who can stop them. There is a device that can cause the monsters to go nuts, destroying cities with chaos. The same device can also make them docile. The fight to help Godzilla defend the planet against the other monsters is on!

When the movie focuses on its titular monsters, it's a great time. Unfortunately the plot and characters are lackluster and it's the least interesting of the three Monsterverse movies so far, but still worth at least one watch

This is "chapter 3" in the 4 part series ending with Godzilla vs King Kong. It is necessary to watch this chapter to understand the whole story. It brings back several of our "old friends:" Mothra, Ghidorah and Rodan. LOTS of action, including a number of other monsters. The CGI is very good. I'm 71 and saw most of the original Godzilla flicks, alons with their remakes, most of which were unremarkable, This is the REAL DEAL!

I was very excited to see this when it came out. My excitement was well worth it. Not only was it a good Kaiju film, but it was also a nice love letter to the fans of the Big G. Many nods and easter eggs to many other films that have came before it. The only complaint was the human characters could of had a little more development. But like one of my friends said, "You don't go to a Godzilla film for the humans, You go for the Monsters". This film deffinately delivered on the monsters.

This is a great movie for all fans of Godzilla. The action scenes and the battle between the two monsters were excellent. My only complaint is that the movie dragged at times. Can't wait for the next installment in this series.

The monster mash ups and battles/ intros were amazing! BUT what made the movie bad was the human story, the dialogue they deliver. Was horrible and unfunny. This movie was disappointing but it’s still worth the watch

Can't say enough about this disc. It's not a bright, colorful movie, but this 4k presentation is very faithful to the way it was intended to be seen in good theatres. It's also a disc that will make you proud to have a good Dolby Atmos home theatre. The disc is demo worthy thru and thru..and the steelbook quality and photos are definitely quality work. It's a must-own for Godzilla fans, and home theatre enthusiasts.

You know what you're going to get out of this before going into it. It's gonna be a loud and action packed movie where the CG monsters are the only thing you care about seeing. The story is mediocre at best and the acting is what you'd expect but the action and visuals are a lot of fun to watch. Mille Bobby Brown was a nice addition to the cast. She holds her own on the big screen so that was a nice added bonus. If you dig action and pushing your surround sound to the limits, this is a no brainer to add to your collection.

Price: very good price, I have been wanting to get this Blue Ray because I watched the movie in theater and enjoyed it a lot Pick-up: curbside, it was available soon after I ordered (during X'Mas week), pick up was efficient, associate was friendly Product: visual and audio are great, I watched it twice already. The digital copy expired according to the last day to redeem but I was able to redeem it so I was super happy

GODZILLA!, what else is there to say ? i used to watch all the Godzilla movies with my GrandMa when i was a little boy, hard to believe that was 50 years ago. Now, seeing his kingly greatness in all his glory, with todays special effects to make him more real than ever before, brings back those warm memories of GrandMa's laughter and shared time together to make me feel like that little boy again, and boy do i love anything that reminds me of GrandMa.
