This is a fun movie, taking me back to the old OG Godzilla monster films I remember as a kid. The highlights of this UHD release are the HDR effects (explosions, Godzilla’s atomic breath, Ghodira’s lightning, etc) and the Atmos soundtrack.....this is definitely a must have to show off your audio! Looking forward to the Godzilla/Kong upcoming release.

It was okay. I thought it was interesting to watch. However, the actor from "Stranger Things" seemed as though she did the EXACT same acting from that series.

Bought this movie based on rave reviews of the dolby atmos track. And yes it is one of the best atmos tracks out! Height and directionality is excellent but the lfe is on another level. It digs deep and will rattle your house. Puts your subwoofer(s) on notice! Def. buy for home theater enthusiasts whether you like the movie or not.

This movie is amazingly great love love it the Blu-ray Disc is amazing very clear and crispy. The sound is loud and clear. So clear it feel like your in the movie it go well with my Sony tv you can have a theater in comfort of your own home. I would recommend this to a friend.

The excellent kaiju battles absolutely save this movie from being complete garbage. My goodness the human characters and their interactions are just bad.

Enjoyed this monster fest. GHIDORAH was scary and dangerous. I like these films and hope they keep making them despite not meeting box office expectations.

This 2019 version is absolutely awesome! What a great story with cutting edge special effects. The acting is brilliant, and the story is intense as it keeps you on the edge of your seat. The soundtrack is also superb. Everything blends together to deliver an outstanding experience. A "must see" and a "must have" for monster movie fans.

The movie is good, not great, but the 3d version does not really pop. I would say in this case stick with the standard blu-ray or 4K version of the film.

I love Godzilla but something is missing from these reboots - great effects and sound but weak story that just seems to drag on - still worth a watch !!!

If you're a fan of the old Toho Godzilla movies, you'll most likely enjoy this fun romp! Critics will find fault with a few items, but you don't go to this to nitpick physics. Also, getting over the fact Godzilla's head seems proportionally small for his massive body is tough, but doable. They fixed his feet in this one so that helped. Enjoy!

Totally awesome especially if you're a Godzilla fan. I was watching the old Toho on TV back in the 60's. King of the monsters is and excellent homage to those movies but cranked up to eleven. The characters get developed well as the script. Let's face it however, it's all centered around the Titan on Titan slug fest. If you're a fan, highly recommend.

Wasn’t as great as I thought it would be. Mostly bought it to see how it would look like in 4k on my OLED E8. May watch again in the future with kids

Not a bad movie but could’ve been better. Godzilla just doesn’t stack up against King Kong. PQ and AQ was real nice and steelbook looks pretty good.

I saw this Godzilla in a theater the night it was released. I think I enjoyed it much more the second time around on disc. And it didn't hurt that the disc was 4K! It looked great! And unlike the first film in this Godzilla series it didn't go out of its way to hide the monsters. You see the monsters a lot in this film!

As an old school G fan, I was more jazzed to see this than any other movie this past year. It's entertaining but not all that it could have been.

I felt the movie was just ok. The scenes with the monsters fighting was pretty cool though. I would recommend it if you are into godzilla movies.

I am so mad at myself for not going to see this in the theater. I am 50 so I grew up watching the older movies with people in costumes so I was disappointed when they were not made better even with the technology we have. That was, until now This movie was by far the best of its kind in a LONG time.. I can no wait for the next one!

I loved this movie when I saw it in theaters, and have seen it several times since. So having it on Blu-ray was a great addition to my collection of Godzilla films. The special features were interesting too. If you are a fan of Godzilla and kaiju battles, this is a great movie to watch! I also like the Japanese Godzilla films too.

You really don't feel for the humans in this story...its more about the monsters. I think the first one was better but this one is watchable.
