This movie is a good installment in Legendary’s Monsterverse! Even with it’s flaws it is still a fun Godzilla movie. Visually stunning as well!

Some cool monster battles and effects, however it just doesn’t live up to its potential. Wanted to like it more. Worth a watch but not a buy.

Loved the 2014 Godzilla and Kong Skull Island! This was average compared to those 2 movies. The steel book is awesome! The movie...just okay.

This is the best version of this movie that you can buy. The picture and sound are well done. If you like Godzilla movies you might like this one. It has fun monster action throughout the movie. The story takes place after the events from the previous movie. Overall it is a fun monster flick.

Very pleased with the soundtrack-awesome bass and lots of on screen action. Generic plot and story. That’s all I have to say about that.

This is in the top 5 best Godzilla movies I have ever seen. 4 of my favorite monsters growing up, modernized to today's standards fighting in ways you can only imagine in your head when playing with your action figures. Saw it 3 times in theaters! Wish I was able to get the steelbook case

This movie is just an average for me. It's just a reminder of some of the Godzilla movies from the past. Just with better special effect.

Lots of appearances of monsters, descent fights among the monsters. BUT, weak leads (Kyle Chandler can't pull it off leading such a film, and the daughter is worst), family issues that nobody cares, weird twist of hostage became mastermind, Godzilla went supernova and won too easy!?! I also feel that Dr. Serizawa is useless, again. He offered no knowledge, decision on what to do in the movie. Every suggestion, analysis came from other people, it's like Serizawa didn't know anything about these monsters. Isn't he the one who's studied them for decades? The random attempt-to-be-funny guy (Bradley Whitford) really tried (probably trying to imitate what Jake Johnson did in Jurassic World). Perhaps just bad scripts, that none of the other characters ever react to his "funny" words, I can't find them funny either unfortunately. Should be better, could've been better. Just fast forward to the monsters.

This movie was great because Godzilla battles for supremacy against enemies such as Rodan, Mothra, and his most deadliest enemy of all is King Ghidorah. I really enjoyed when Godzilla cleaned house by defeating and destroying King Ghidorah to become the new King of the Monsters.

I saw this movie in the theater and was disappointed. Story was weak. I enjoyed the first movie and Kong Skull Island. It had potential

For all you Godzilla fans out there or monster enthusiasts as well, this one is definitely the one to see. With the story in its original form along with updated special effects this Godzilla movie is definitely for the fan loving genre. Forget that Godzilla flick back in 1998, just go and buy this new remake and you will not be disappointed.

Enjoyable if you aren't expecting too much. Would have been more enjoyable if they focused more on the monsters than the people.

this was suppossed to be second part of the series with king kong , it wasn't as good as king kong it was just ok..cgi ws very good

Has high points but to me didn't hit the mark, Godzilla and the other monsters portrayed this way made a lot of questions come up.

Like the title says, if you want to watch a movie but seem to just stare at your collection, put this movie in. The story is a little lacking and some point you find yourself wondering why they did that. But overall an enjoyable experience. If you have an atmos sound system or at least a good subwoofer this movie does a good job with the audio and making you feel that the monsters are near.

Loved seeing the big guy again taking on Ghidorah. Great effects and story. My only complaint is the mysticism. I'm not a fan of the idea Godzilla and friends are Earth's way of...well, you'll have to see the movie. And the range of Ghidorah's influence isn't believable. That part of the story should have been reconsidered. He was WAY too big. It reminds me of the anima Godzilla's Ghidorah.

I'm half Asian and it was my civic duty to buy this movie. I grew up watching Godzilla with my mom on Saturday afternoons. Wish she was still here to do that with. You get what you paid for: goofy effects and bad acting, but I still love it for he entertainment value. A solid plot isn't always needed to enjoy a movie.

Godzilla is the original king of the monster movies, Godzilla is and always will be a cult classic! My wife loves the old Godzilla movies so it was a definite must buy for her. The grandkids enjoyed watching it together with us. It falls in line with the traditional storyline good action and a lot better looking for the monsters in the movies compared to the old.

I feel like this should be the Godzilla movie to judge all other against. I was a big fan of the early day Godzilla movies, even though they were not so great. These new versions of Godzilla are pretty great, with this being the best.

Seeing as the first film was low in action it seems the team decided to put the focus this time on action and less of a story.
