I just got the DVD last night and popped it in while I was doing some work. I was able to get through the first DVD in the pack of 3. Even though I've seen all the episodes multiple times I still enjoy this gem of a show. It's interesting to note that even if you've seen the show in syndication, there is a lot that is edited out. I can honestly say that I have not seen each the ENTIRE episodes till now. And they're funny as ever.

This season of the Golden Girls was just the start of one of the best tv shows in america. From the touching to hillarious moments, this show has touched people of all ages. I personally know of people aged 5 to 80 years old that watch my collection of Golden Girls seasons with me. A uniqune part of this show is that; important and revelant issues are dissussed and explained, while making it fun to watch. I hope you enjoy the Golden Girls season 1 as much as I have, and countune to enjoy it for years to come!

This show was written for success from the very first episode. These characters mesh so well together not to mention the script they were given were absolutely flawless. From Rose's St. Olaf stories to the witty remarks of Sophia. This show is a timeless classic and will always entertain me no matter how many times I see each episode. I recommend this one to start your collection but make sure you get all of them because it's A+ from start to finish.

My grandmother used to like The Golden Girls when she was alive. A long time ago, I carried my purse around her house and my grandmother told me that I reminded her Sophia from The Golden Girls.

This Box set is wonderful and I enjoy every minute of it with the laughs that had me in tears. I truly enjoy it I will recommend anyone who is a big fan of the golden girls!

I have The Golden Girls on DVD. I have seasons 1-6 of the Golden Girls on DVD. My favorite on The Golden Girls was Sophia.

golden girls is timeless. it is still as much fun today as i was when it was originally presented.

When you watch on TV, they cut out scenes. These DVDs show the entire episode.
