Well made game, but couldn't get into it

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I heard a lot of good things about Golf Story, like how it was a fun RPG-style sports game with a lot of humor, quirky characters, etc. I played it for a few hours but just couldn't get into it. It is a well made game with great sprite work, and I can see the appeal, but it just wasn't for me, leading me to promptly re-sell the game. Maybe you'll enjoy it more than I did.

Seeing Golf Story with a physical release is amazing, and even more so that I could pick it up in my local Best Buy (AND apply my still-active GCU discount to it!) recommended - IF you can track down a copy...

There's an immersive story for those looking to dive deep or there's quick play for those just looking to play a few holes and call it quits.
