Who doesn't love this movie? The acting is great. The costumes are awesome. The story is even better. I remember watching this movie for the first time during drama class back in High school. My kids also saw it in high school, so I bought it and we all enjoy watching it at home.

Wow.... A purchase well worth the money.. Such a classic and such a wonderful job in BluRay enhancements.. The picture is crystal clear.. It is like watching it for the first time. Amazing details ... A classic brought back to life the way it should be shown.

Gone with the Wind is an exceptional film of romance that takes place during the American Civil War. Starring one of the best actors of all time and winning Academy Awards has marked its place in film history.

Wanted to add Blu-Ray version of this classic movie to my collection. Beautifully filmed for its time, 1939. This movie is part of Hollywood film making history. Did have trouble with sound during part of this blu-ray. Will have to watch again.

My daughter and I are so in love with Clark Gable and this is one of his Best Movie Classic. We plan on introducing my granddaughter to this Great Movie. Thank you Best Buy for having it in stock.

Saw this movie version in the bargain bin at a local Best Buy and decided to purchase it to add to my movie collection. After all, it was only a few bucks, and is considered one of the greatest movies ever made. I will say that it is visually very stunning when viewed on a good 4K screen. The story, however, is nothing more than a soap opera potboiler attempting to evoke nostalgia for a corrupt society built on slavery and class distinction. It's hard to believe some of the portrayals in this movie. Kind plantation owners, docile happy slaves eager to help their masters weather the storm of the Civil War, evil vile Federal troops and former slaves turned money grubbing opportunists. The best part of the movie is in the beginning when Rhett Butler attempts to warn the overzealous young aristocrats why they will probably lose a war if one starts. While compelling none of the main characters are sympathetic except for Melanie Wilkes played by Olivia DeHaviland. Hattie McDaniel was great as the household slave Mammy, who maintained devotion to her owner family through thick and thin. She deserved the Oscar. This movie belongs in the same category of film as Birth of a Nation and Triumph of the Spirit, well made movies that try to push a point of view that no one is buying these days.

A all time great movie. However it is full screen and does not fill the screen of your TV. But it is not widescreen. I purchased this at $5.99 and thought that it was a great price. A movie that can be enjoyed with a family or friend.

A classic movie of its time. Wonderful acting and cinematography. Some of the racial depictions are wince-inducing; but I think that's mostly a function of "the times."

It's a classic...A great piece of film making back from the golden years of Hollywood. A time that IMO, will never, ever be duplicated. Get this movie and just sit back and relax. What a masterpiece.

Just about everyone has heard of this movie and have quoted it's lines. Any movie collector must have this Blu-Ray and if you want to start a collection, this is the disc you need. The reproduction is sharp and the colors and details are excellent.

This is one of those lo-o-ong o-old films that draw you in no matter what you were planning to watch. Everyone should own a version and this special edition is a great choice.

This is one of the best movies ever made. It has a wonderful story line and of course how times were in the south back in the day. Great acting also. A classic.

Best visual quality I've seen for this classic. Keep hoping they'll issue a 4k full restoration before it gets banned by the PC mob. Get it while you can.

Given to someone who has not seen this classic film. They loved it. There were the expected comments as to how old-fashioned the film was, but in spite of that, the film was well received.

This is a classic film and having lived in Atlanta and toured the area near the authors home, makes it all the better. There are several locations in the city that reference places in the movie.
