I can't lie, the theme of the album is hard for me to grasp, but it is Kendrick Lamar's story to tell. I play the album in my car, but I haven't set with it and listened to it enough to give a review that people should care about. Money Trees is one of my favorite songs of the year however.

Best album I have bought in years. dr dre's new protégé is going to be a hit like the rest. Love how each song tells a story tied in by phone calls from his parents.

the cd itself was pretty good. I could listen through from start to finish without skiping any tracks.

Maybe 3 stars is a little harsh, as this is a good album & he's a talented artist, but I personally never found much replay value to this.

This is by far the best Hip Hop/Rap album I have ever heard. There is no describing how amazing this album is. Kendrick Lamar put his heart, soul, life, and existence into this masterful work of art. This is going to be album of the year and it has my vote of Album of the Millennium. #HiiiPower #TDE

Kendrick paints the canvas thoroughly . . . He is the epitomy of what an artist should be . He discusses topics that really hold a merit in society today-- and yet, its not an overload, or too dark (Lupe-- still love you too babe). It's the perfect medium !! If you havent already-- please be encouraged to listen !! I approve . . . <3

I see Best Buy still doesn't get what hardcore/gangsta rap is... which is the exact opposite of Kendrick Lamar's album. Anyway this is one of the few rap albums where I been able to listen from start to finish.

this Cd is SUPER EPIC....it a MUST LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
