I had a storage ottoman before and gave it to a family with small children. At the time I didn't think I would be using it. But I have another grandchild that is very busy. He takes my refrigerator magnets and leaves them on the floor in the living room. He takes all of his toys out of the diaper bag and leaves them all over. This is the perfect tool to give him a special place and teach him to pick up after himself.

I had bought it to throw kids toys in for a small and quick pickup in the living room, but collapses to easily unless full, so just keep small throws in it for kids.

It's great for what I wanted it for- yarn. I stuffed the thing FULL. What I don't like is the texture of the material it's made from (I have a sensory disorder), and I just end up getting someone else to open and close it for me. Also, it folds up if you slide it without the lid on, and it's somewhat difficult to put the lid on- it has to be fitted. Other than that, you can't beat it for 6 bucks. I'm definitely not complaining!

i ordered one to catch extra books and papers in the living room then i thought that it would be a handy place to store snacks like chips and cookies in the kitchen.so i ordered another one.turned out to be a great idea. it is constructed of canvas with very thin wood so it is not heavy nor very sturdy at least not enough to sit or stand on but the padded top makes it a nice foot rest while keeping items hidden

Decent for the $$- got it on sale; using it for storage to make home office look tidy

Better than I expected for the price. It serves the purpose of storage of photos, etc. and looks good, too.

For the price , this is a pretty good bargain. It looks nice and is easy to assemble. The only drawback is the flimsy bottom. If heavy items were placed inside , it may not hold up if you attempted to pick it up as opposed to sliding it on the floor.

I love this product...It is used in my living room...I store notebooks and a blanket in it..Everyone that sees it thinks it is very cool...I need to buy another one...For storage..it cannot be beat for the price..I use mine as a phone table...and it is the perfect height...

These are really just what I needed. They are small, but I got so much other stuff, they're ideal if you wanna keep something extra on the side of end tables, or nightstands. I know better than to put my feet on them. for the price, they're okay...did I mention free shipping? I am very satisfied.

It's an OK "ottoman" for storage, but do not expect to use it for seating. My 4 year old is the only one who can sit on it without collapsing it, so it's used for her toys.

I ordered this black storage ottoman from Best Buy.com from the Deal of the Day. It is what it is...a small grayish black foldable storage square. The sides and bottom is canvas fabric so I put a cardboard square in the bottom of the unit to protect it from when things are just tossed in it. Right now I'm using it in a kids room, since I have a grand- daughter here often and she thought it was a table and has a child's chair beside it. It is great for items like Barbies or doll clothes. I ordered it because of the low price. I think I paid $7.99 plus tax. which I think was a good price for the unit. It arrived within a week. I suspected when I ordered it that I would use it for storage rather than an ottoman.

If these ever come up for sale again, I'll probably buy 1 or 2 more. they look & work better than cardboard boxes!

I would buy one of these again since it does not take up much space yet offers some storage for misc. items. Good value.

I bought these because of the price, when I got them I was surprised with the quality. they are pretty sturdy, and I use them for my daughters shoes. I really wish that I ordered more of them, i can use them for different things in every room. They are convenient!

This is a great little ottoman. It's great for storing books, clothing, etc. It is sturdy enough to sit on and it cushiony(if thats a word) It was a great price and well worth the money. It would be great if they sold a bigger one. Overall great!

I was expecting a jet black, and it seems to be a bit more charcoal or a very faded black... the functionality, durability, ease of ordering, price, free shipping all are excellent, which is why I am ordering some more for my other home!!

thought it would be black its a medium gray color.. Basic but well worth 6 .00 and free shipping. i can put small laptop, ipad, accesories and lots of other things and have them scattered out .

I have enjoyed this extra storage and have even used it for seating for a child at a big gatherings.
