    Purchased chromecasts for our kids tv's so they wouldnt lose remotes and could use their tablets to control their tv watching. Google and amazon (kindle) arent compatible. We returned them and opted for roku's instead.

    This product is great. However, the instructions are a bit confusing from Google. The set up took more than 1/2 hour and confusing instructions added to time and frustration. The Apple TV set up was a far easier endeavor. Otherwise it works well once everything online.

    I was told by some people that they stream Directv to their television sets with this product. I couldn't make that work. It did stream Youtube, but it looked awful on the screen. I returned it to BestBuy.
