    It connects with IOS and Android devices, but not with Windows PC with Google Chrome. My recommendation would be on what you want to do with it. It is on for Youtube, etc., to play form IOS and Android but not very useful for casting from your PC.

    So this is my second chrome cast, the previous was the first gen. I wanted to get something that would work on 5ghz but realized that it does not connect to it. I like the new design and like that it doesn't heat up as, much as the first gen does.

    This thing sucks. If want to pause your show you have to wake up your device open the app and then hit pause. So about 30 seconds go by while your wife is screaming at you to turn it down, off, rewind it etc. also sometimes it is finicky and doesn't want to cast.

    I bought this to be able to cast my computer screen to a TV in my office to show clients... It is OK when casting still images (takes a little while to load) and sub par for videos. I wish I would have just bought an Apple TV instead...

    This device is good for streaming and it's easy to connect to from your phone or tablet. I like the device, but the lack of remote was a deal breaker for me and my family. I would only recommend if you don't care about using a remote to watch tv.

    My college student wanted this for her birthday. The first one worked for a few days and then stopped. We called Google to try and resolve but returned it to the store and swapped out for another one. Still waiting to see if it will consistently work

    I bought this to be able to watch the live webcams on explore.org on a Sony non-smart TV. So far it has only worked once. I know I set it up correctly. I called Customer Service with ChromeCast and was able to get it to work once while on the phone with them but not since. I select "YouTube" when watching the webcam on my PC and then "cast to ChromeCast," but it doesn't work. I guess I need to call Customer Service again or have a computer geek help me.
