Works great only thing I don't like is that you have to make sure you disconnect the airplay before exiting an app that your streaming because it will continue to play even if your app is closed on your phone

I already had 2 of these in older versions and was expecting something better in the latest version. The only difference is the new one has an AC plug instead of a USB plug. For me this is not an improvement.

What you may want to do with this device requires apps on every single action. Then each device connecting requires their own apps or sets of apps. Should be plug and play at this stage of deveopment.

Its an okay product I find it freezing up often and working when it wants to with my sling app, other then that I have no complaints but not working with my sling app 100% of the time is very disappointing.

poor product gave to charity because not worth the drive back to the store and bought another elsewhere though we are or were loyal to best buy

I have to say I returned this product because it would require me to use it with my phone and i could not bothered with this since I’m always using my phone for everything else...

It's cool but know that if you do not have internet/wifi you'll have to use two phones. 1 to use as a wifi "hotspot" the other connects to your phone then you pull up the app and link to chromecast.

Already have a Roku and Fire Stick - wanted to play with Chromecast. Tried watching some videos - ties up your phone the whole time. So many other solutions out there.

whilst we love the ease and usefulness of chromecast, we have issues with is constantly needing resetting/reconnecting to our wifi even when there's no issues with the wifi itself

needs to coordinate better with google home. has visual/audio syncing problems. Have to reopen app after every video.In spite of all this, i think it has great potential and i am not giving up on it.

Easy to setup. Does have a delay when streaming movies from the phone to the TV. I was having issues with the voices matching up.

Haven't really been able to get this to work properly. Worked for a bit initially, but now doesn't connect. Can't figure it out.

I loved it initially however within few days it takes hours to connect it every time , it just does not pair up on same network that easy .

It was suggested for me at Best buy. The app does not work very well with it. Have trouble forwarding or backing up or the remote when watching a movie or shows. Overall, ok but not the best.

Comes with no instructions. The app isn't the easiest to figure out and doesn't have options like Amazon video. Not worth the buy to me. Go with roku.

Only works with YouTube which I already have on my smart Tv, does not synchronize with anything like the Apple TV, maybe cause I have an iPad and an Apple phone, waste of money!!!

This allows you to "cast" onto your tv from a smart device. It does NOT have any programs/apps loaded on it. I prefer Apple TV, or just get a Roku TV so you don't have an extra remote.

My experience was not the gratest. Chromcast is good for casting certain apps from a phone but the signal tends to drop or the phone does not synch with the device.. That is very frustrating

Product is ok bit you have to download several apps and special games to mirror cast. I was looking for more of a plug and play from my tablet to tv screen to watch movies and play games.
