for some reason I'm not able to cast all the websites. I have to reboot the device to get connected. But when it works fine , it is very good for wireless stream

I dont think its worth the price its really only good if all you want to do is view youtube vids doesnt have a web browser to use google n that is what i bought it for

I had purchased the original Chromecast and it was acceptable. I really didn't have much in the way of issues with it. It was neither a bad thing or a good thing. I decided to upgrade thinking that with my 5ghz AC network, this would be an amazing upgrade. I had no idea that this gadget would refuse to connect to a 5ghz network and that this was a huge problem that is known to Google. For over a year this has happened and the only remedy appears to be to fiddle with the perfectly good and operational wireless network to rename and to do other things to get Chromecast to work at its peak. I cannot recommend this inferior piece of equipment - it is not better than the old one which seemed to work better. I am no novice at home networking and wireless things. There is no reason to have to fiddle with a network to make some device work like it should from the factory. And no other devices have any problem logging onto the network. Is is so frustrating for a device to see a network connection and to repeatedly never connect to it. Save your money and buy something else.

Could be a decent product but was difficult to set up and use. I returned this product for the Amazon Fire stick which I would recommend instead

This device is not as easy to use as ROKU. However, it does offer different user options. May want to consider buying a more expensive one.

This product is not what we intended. We intended it to be used with a desktop and so far we have been having trouble connecting it to anything but a cell phone.

I could not get it to function properly for a extended period of time. It worked OK at first but drops out intermittently.

I bought chromecast for the cast feature but didn't realized that the only feature it has . There no apps you can have on screen like the Apple TV and fire stick

I have subscription to both Netflix and HBO. I see that the streaming is very slow and I see a lag when I stream movies on Netflix, but have no issues with HBO.

Worked great when I had a router at home, but now that I'm in student housing (no personal router) it will not work because I can't turn off the AP setting.

I rarely use this any more. A little glitchy with my Sony TVs. Amazon Fire Stick works better for my needs and seems to work consistently

Not a bad product at all - far more advanced than the old “cast” from PC only systems, but fussy. Needlessly fussy and of course, Android-centric.

My Chromecast does not stay casted to the CBS app I've been back and forth with CBS and they say it's the Chromecast that were made after August of this year

can't get the audio to sync with the video. sound is sometimes 20-30 seconds behind the video. got a new newgear router, better, but not correct.

Very good quality if connected to a fast internet service. The slower your internet is, the more difficult it is to stay logged in.

Good package. Easy to understand instructions. But not easy to make it work. Tried to run with Windows 10 64-bit, took several tries to get it to work.

It's been good overall however it tends to drop off wifi more than it should. I can't keep the connection longer than 2 hours typically

This didn't perform well with our new 4K TV. Anytime we casted, there was a noticeable change in color on screen with everyone's faces becoming very red. After trying several things, we gave up and just went back to DirecTV for our programming. Had high hopes to avoid that but this just didn't accomplish that for us. We were not willing to see a lousy picture on our brand new 4K TV.

I bought this with the intention of being able to cast most things, but the abilities are limited. For the money I ended up buying an Amazon fire stick.

Would like the ability to save different network locations when traveling, instead of building each network separatily, each time unit is moved.
