It does what is supposed to. However you need to have a very strobg wife connection otherwise you will have trouble connecting.

Works great for the apps listed, but not an option for completely ditching an HDMI cable. No cast option for just plain desktop even.

I used it for about 6 months. It stopped working after some connectivity ssues

works well and doesnt buffer, as long as you have good strong wifi connection. Good price, just would like to access more to view.

Average product: messy installation. Since the purchase of the new Samsung Q9F smart TV, this is obsolete.

Had problems connecting to Netflix. Streaming programs to my TV are interrupted frequently.

The experience is not good when you cast from your laptop to TV. It does n't play well, as compared to casting from Phone.

It wouldn't connect with my android phone. Then it did, then disconnected several times. It kept disconnecting while I was watching the movie. I feel that the device is not android friendly.Totally killed the mood!

You have to go online and set up account. We also bought Apple TV. Set up much easier/quicker. Would definitely go that route.

It has to be hooked up to wireless to work. I thought the unit could connect to my phone without wireless.

It won't work with my google assistant. I cant figure out how to set it up to work on my TV with my google assistant.

On various TV's in my house I have Chromecast, Apple TV, and Amazon Firestick. Of all the devices, I am least satisfied with the Chromecast. I constantly lose the network connection. It tells me the device is there, but then will not connect. I have given up using it. as it is too much hassle and the others work better. I do wish it would work so I could broadcast my computer in my office to my bedroom TV.

Casts from my iphone, selectively though. Not so impressed. Needs third party apps to cast those which it cannot!

Slow to hook up. Fails to sync up with Apple products quickly. When used traveling, it had trouble linking to various WiFi

Purchased for my daughter. When she got her own I found out that you cant have 2 in the same house. . sporadic reception.

My son has used this without issue to control a tv. I am having some issues getting it set up, but expect success.

I returned it to the store. I didn't like it because you have to download each app to your phone and then cast it to the TV, changing the volume was slow and if you want to pause it, it was about a 15 or more second delay. Down loading apps can take up some space on your phone as well. I prefer a remote control.

Unless you're going to use your phone as the remote, it's pretty useless. Neither of my tvs which are less than 3 years old will connect the remote to it. Until they sell it with its own remote, it's basically a piece of garbage. Fire Stick is way better!

I bought this on Vacation and I was unable to use it on an open network in my hotel room. So I can't tell it works.
