For the same price go buy a Roku you get more for your money including the ability to cast to it.

The store rep told me I can use this to what movies from my phone to my tv. I asked if it had to be a chrome cast app and he said no. Long story short yed, it needs to be a app that is affiliated with chrome cast. Look at the apps on the box and don't ask the sales guy

I tried this device for streaming video to my tv. The Video quality was awful and choppy.

Good product but with others that are out now this might be a little outdated

I didn't care for these dongles. With smart TV's in the house the use case was limited.

the device broke after one use. the hdmi output died after 5 minutes... returned and moved on.

I really do not have a rating. Purchased Chromcast to view my Granddaughter's graduation on my TV rather than my computer. Couldn't get it installed. I found out about it too late for me to get it installed. It is home and in the box never used. Was able to view graduation on computer. Said my internet was too weak.

Received item and tried to hook up chrome cast to my tv. It would not work. Gave the chrome cast to a co-worker who has a chrome cast in his home, but he could not get it to work. Not real impressed with item. May try another later, but i waisted money on this item.

I don't know if is my phone or what but streaming is been hard so i never used anymore....

Was a pain to use and set up. Be wary of item unless can work with t.v.

Simply put Chromecast is too limited. You have to keep trying to find apps that can "cast".

I purchased this for a spare TV in my garage. I have Google Fiber TV and didn't have a connection for a Fiber TV box. Google doesn't let you cast their app, the ESPN app, or the Fox Sports GO app to this device. I verified this limitation with Google Fiber TV support, and I exchanged it for an Amazon FireTV stick.

The item does not work nearly as well as the fire stick. Feels like a waste of money.

For the sake of watching media easily, I would recommend this to EVERYONE. It easily streams content from compatible apps with just a tap on your phone or tablet. It has even convinced me to buy one as a gift for someone. The only downside is sometimes the connection between your phone (or tablet) can remain on the same network and content your streaming does not respond to the app. But if that's a problem, I would've purchased the Nexus Player which has the same capabilities with a dedicated remote.

I was not very pleased. This requires internet at home to be able to screen mirror which defeats the purpose I had purchased for. The rep told me it would work and it did not. Go with the samsung dongle wireless allshare hub- this product allows you to utilize your unlimited data and screen mirror from your phon to tv without wires and.

It's a cool little device but it just hangs behind the tv. No mounting attachments for it.

This might have been a great toy few years back but not so great as compare to Fire stick.
