This is a great product. I use it to stream meadia and live tv since I cut cable. The only negative is thay the instructions are pretty vague abd it took some only searching to really understand how it works.

I really like this chromecast. It's so much nicer watching Hulu & Netflix on my tv rather than on my iPad. Very easy to set up. Definitely worth the price!

At first I thought I didn't need to upgrade from the Chromecast v1 but the 5ghz was too tempting. I live in an apartment and there's so many wifi waves flying around. So far the upgrade has been loading my casts faster with no stalls ever since I upgraded on day 1. Very happy with the upgrade.

Wanted one of these to more easily share content to my TV from phones and tablets. Works as expected, and the 2 for $50 deal during Christmas was awesome.

Great product! I don't have cable as I am a broke grad student but this works great! Can stream Hulu and HBOGo from my phone straight to my TV. Love it!

half the time i watch my television i use the google chromecast!!!! it works better than anything especially for the spectacular price NO COMPLAINTS

It gives major features of smart television. I use it on both iOS and Android. Easy to set up. Wish more apps could have ability to be streamed

I know this product is great but I haven't been able to use it yet. If you have Wow for your internet provider and their Arris DG2470 Modem/Router, Chromecast will not work. This was easily found using a google search after having touble trying to connect it. So, If buying Chromecast, make sure your modem is compatible. I will go tomorrow and buy a modem.

Older version i found easier. This one conects disconnects often. I set up with no pin and then i pops a pin...dont like but needed something fast and didnt see anything else for sale.

I tried using this to replace my Roku 3 since I travel a lot and this is much smaller and doesn't need a dedicated remote or HDMI cable. Big mistake. First, it wouldn't connect to my mobile hotspot Wi-Fi, which my Roku did, then I noticed it didn't have Amazon Prime, then it was frustrating to fiddle with the synchronizing between the iPhone and the streaming apps such as Netflix. Things went downhill fast and this is going back.

I love my Chromecast. I now have two in my home, one in the living room and one in the bonus room. They are easy to connect to and for sending movies and music to. I use it all the time for casting Netflix and like how it streams directly to the computer without having to go through my cell or tablet. Best device I own for $30.

The new Chromecast is great, and an affordable way to stream content. The HDMI-CEC is especially handy. However, if you have the previous generation, it isn't a huge change.

The chromecast does what I need it to do. I download a lot of google play movies, and I would like to watch them on my TV. This device is perfect for it. It was very easy to set up, and it works flawlessly. So far I have streamed Netflix, Youtube, Google Play Movies, and Google Play Music to my TV.

I was looking for a way to enlarge my pictures on my phone to my TV screen. This did the job and was quite easy to setup.

Easy to be installed and easy to use. keep your mobile battery far from drain :)

Thank you for new Chromecast 2015. This is faster and better than my older one.

This product is very simple to use and simple to set up. Great for watching smartphone and tablet apps on a television. Very affordable too. The only downside is that you can not fully mirror all aspects of your tablet or smartphone with this device. It only works with apps that specifically have a casting feature.

Chromecast is the best thing to use for streaming. Honestly, Amazon Fire and Apple TV do not hold a candle to it.

Good streaming device yet kinda hard to set up at first. Easy to cast and watch but I highly suggest a really fast wifi connection for continuous streaming

Simple to use with the many devices in our home. Had a few issues with setup not being able to connect to the Wi-Fi, but eventually got it up and running.
