I've read that Chromecast is not as reliable as Blu-ray player and other devices. This works good so far, better than the $89 Blu-ray player I bought for another TV. The Chromecast was easy to install (LG TV), and download the apps to my Note 5 phone. Everything has played good with it so far (Netflix).

I got this product along with my Epson 2045 and I love this device. Its easy to cast from my mobile or computer and watch it on projector. there is no delay or lag and its very easy to install. Its a great casting device.

I got the chrome cast when it was on sale. The $20 to google play was added two days later, which was awesome. I had some hiccups when I was trying to watch youtube. It did not want to sync or won't load. The plug does get hot if you watch many hours on it. I do keep it unplug now, and that have solve the loading problem and hot plug issue. The best thing is I can cast(sync) my laptop screen to the tv.

Decided to buy the chromecast to complement my google home mini speaker. Setup was a breeze, just plug in the chromecast to a HDMI port, then you use your browser to get your chromecast connected to your wifi network. Casting to the chromecast is also very easy. You just use a supported app (youtube for example) and hit the cast button and choose the chromecast and it will appear on your TV. You can also use any of the google home speakers to control the chromecast via voice control, which works very well with google play music, which is another app you can cast to the chromecast. All in all, this device works well, it is very easy to setup and use.

This works well. We currently have Chromecast on all of our TVs. They work great.

Wireless AC helps improve in reducing buffering of video playback. It also came with $20 google credit which was nice. I have the old gen and this slightly plays video faster but not by much 3-4 seconds. You will notice quicker video playback, less buffering and therefore highest possible bitrate out of your wifi connection. Overall recommended but don't expect a huge improvement.

I've used it to stream music on Spotify, play Netflix, Twitch, and HBO GO, and they all work excellently. Picture quality is great, they load up fast, and everything just works.

I had the original chromecast, but it was getting slow and glitchy so I decided to upgrade to the chromecast 2 and it was worth it! So much faster and smoother.

Easy to set up product it was ready in less than 5 minutes. The phone app is easy to install and is free. Fast load movie's from Netflix and YouTube

Google - Chromecast - Black This is best. It took about 5 minutes to set up. It works perfect with great video, and sound quality. I love it.

Sister loves it, she has a "Dumb TV" so this was perfect for her. With being on her phone a lot, this has been a perfect combination for her and her friends. She can cast anything she likes, and the chromecast responds very well to all her commands.

It's a very easy to use and setup streaming device. It works with Android and iOS which is nice.

I've had the 1st Gen chromecast and now purchased the 2nd gen for better wifi connection. Works great as advertised. It's perfect for netflix, youtube, slingplayer, watchespn and many more video streaming apps. Love my chromecast.
