I think this is one of the greatest invention. I can mirror most everything from my pc, ipad, iphone to my HD TV with audio.

Fast responding product makes older TV smart again

The 5GHz makes streaming to my TV faster and reliable. This is a must buy. I upgraded from the 1st Gen and it was worth it.

Definitely loads faster than the 1st gen Chromecast. Like the addition of 5ghz wifi, which is better for streaming. ESPN streams in 60 fps, looks identical to broadcast television. Hulu, BTN, and HBO Go apps drop occasionally. However, I imagine this is because of poor app support and not an issue with the hardware.

Best design and optimized for low speed internet speed. Was enjoying my videos using new chromecast compared to old one.

I love how easy this is to use and now it has a 5gHz connection. Brought my old one to work and we love it there too.

Based on the reviews of the app in the Play Store, I didn't expect much. However, I'm pleasantly surprised and love this thing. Easy setup, easy to use, and the Google Cast app is completely usable. Usually, I cast from within the app I'm using.

I love my Chromecast. I bought it just so I could share pictures and videos with my family, but I've found that it works great for streaming TwitchTV so that's where the majority of my use has been. There's a bit of a delay when using it, so don't expect to game on it, but for just viewing media it's perfect.

I've got a few of these now, and a bunch of the Chromecast Audio, and they're tremendous. Oddly, the backdrop feature is probably my favorite right now, which is like a slideshow of the pictures I take (and decide to include), so I have one for work, and one for personal. I have a smart TV, but end up using this the majority of the time. Kids (and adults) can lose remotes, but my phone, while it can be lost just as easily, is much less likely to be lost. Plus, with Google Photos having the cast ability, instead of crowding around a phone or computer and viewing pictures that maybe they shouldn't see... BAM! the ones I want to show them are right there on the TV for people to see.

There isn't much to say about this. If you know how to use the video apps you already have on you phone then this is by far the simplest way to watch anything on your TV. It seems like every major app out there (Android and iPhone) supports Google Cast, with the notable except of Apple and Amazon's own apps.

The Chromecast is great to wirelessly connect/transmit video to our TV. We use it to cast videos to karaoke.

As a HTPC owner, I figured I'd never find a use for Chromecast. I was wrong as it actually enhances the HTPC experience. I primarily use it in combination with Plex to stream all of the media stored on our server to any TV in the house. Works fantastic! What took me so long?.

First casting device I purchased & it works perfectly. My internet box is in the living room & the signal range to garage where Chromecast is located works flawlessly, without delay. Easy to set-up with a little help of YouTube to make things faster. A+ in my book

I use this on a regular basis and It works great! I would recommend this product to anyone who likes to listens to music or watches youtube videos. Plus, it uses your WiFi signal so it doesn't hit your data plan and there is no interruption of signal when playing.

Gave this 3 stars b/c Roku and Firestick are ahead of this product. The lack of a remote and the necessity to add channels/station via apps is not as efficient as the previously mentioned devices. However the Chrome device is very good at streaming from a tablet. You can "load" the chrome device with your desired viewing material, and then shutdown/turn off your tablet and continue to watch without the tablet.
