It took about 5 minutes to set this up. It works perfect with great video, and sound quality. I love it. It should be your first choice just because its so cheap. Overall excellent purchase.

I don't know what I'd do without this thing. I use it for watching Hulu, Plex, and so many other things on my large TV. I credit chromecast for being the main contributor to cutting the cable.

I had an older model Chromecast and bought a second one for another TV and this one works even better! Better picture and sound quality, less lag time in loading, and better wifi connectivity!

So far, I really enjoy this product. I am able to connect and stream movies from my phone and tablet with ease in any room in the house now. Also get to use apps and more on my nonsmart tv.

Worked immediately out of the box. It seems to be dependant upon the strength of the wifi signal. I wanted a device that would let me mirror my phone on my TV and this does exactly that.

Really enjoy the Chrome Cast. Really dislike the fact it was supposed to have a 3 months of HBO. Never got a code that was promised to be emailed. Oh, well it does what you think. Cast WYSIWYG to TV. Has apps like Roku & Firestick..

Ive purchased this just for Air Play,I have 4 Apple TV won't air play anymore,Then Ive purchased 4 fire sticks ,Fire stick is garbage. I like the Chromecast easy to Air play from our iPads and iPhones Bobby movies. movie box and Bobby HD movie works awesome. All my TVs are Samsung why isn't Samsung TVS there not built in chrome cast like VIZIO ? I won't be buying a Vizio . Kids love to Air play Movies,I only purchased it to for AIR play I bought 3 getting 2 more,$35 no brainer

I love my original gen 1 chrome cast so I bought the new one and I don't know why but for somethings the original works for this one doesn't. But still s great item, I wish Google would include some things that the Apple TV offers

She was tired of using the remote to type in what to watch and the chromecast was exactly what she wanted so she can use her phone's keyboard. Very easy to install and use.

Love having this. I have an older smart TV so there are a number of apps that don't work with it. Plus it so much easier than a number of cast apps I tried to use before.

I originally purchased the Chromecast because the XBOX 360 and the PS4 were having issues playing Netflix and I figured this would be an affordable option to test out, and I have to be honest, I love having new toys to play with. It is a very versatile device due to the fact that it can be controlled my any android device or computer running the chrome browser. In my case I use an old Android phone as the remote and loaded many chromecast able apps, such as Netflix, youtube, Pandora radio and others. There are even games that can be run!! I have had it now for almost six months and have had no issues with it.

I had the Chromecast 1st Generation and when I switched over to this one, I was blown away by the increased speed and decreased loading times. Definitely worth the buy

Easy to use with my Galaxy phone, Chrome browser on my Mac, and iPad. Allows me to watch/stream videos and music onto a TV that does not have cable in my house.

I bought a cheap knock off on ebay never could get it to work Finley got a chrome cast man its the real deal super simple to use works great you get what you pay for.

I love how this works. The only downfall is that it has to be operated by a tablet or android and I happen to have one of them, thank goodness. But it is amazing.

Works at advertised. Very easy setup via Google app. Used primarily for casting movies via the Flixster app because Apple TV doesn't support Airplay via Flixster.

Simple to set up and easy to use. Now I can basically cast anything to my tv. Skipped on the 4k ultra one for now since the content doesnt seem to be there yet but will be getting it at some point I am sure.

This is better and faster than the previous version of the Chromecast. While it is a bit bulkier, it is significantly faster and supports 5G wireless technology.
