This upgrade has been amazing! It works flawlessly and does not lag or freeze! If you are trying to mirror from your device using a third party app, you might have some connection issue due to the third party app! The product itself is simply PERFECT!

Got this so I could stream a few things from my laptop to my living room TV. Super quick install. Plugged it into my receiver and used a USB port on the receiver for power. No issues and great picture/sound, depending on the source material of course.

We have all sorts of streaming devices, but I keep coming back to this one. It's so fast and easy to use. Now that it's more powerful and let's your guest access it with a pin is even better. I've bought them as gifts and my friends have loved them.

I bought this because I couldn't watch HBO on my Smart TV. I thought it was a reasonable price. After I hooked it up to my TV I was able to stream more than just HBO. I love that I can control it from all of my devices. I can connect my laptop, iPad, or iPhone to use as a remote. When I use any of my devices to stream I can still use my devices for other things. I don't have to be stuck on just the streaming page. I give it a 5 star over all. I've had it for over a month and I love it. I also like that it gives new members discount coupons.

Very easy set up, just plug into HDMI and Power (USB if your TB has it) and download the chromecast app. Works with a huge variety of apps including drama fever, youtube, hulu, netflix and more. Google also included a free movie rental. Awesome.

This is a must have product for every home - just plug into HDMI port of your TV and the TV turns into a monitor! You cannot only stream everything to your TV (this actually make smart TVs smarter) but can also use your TV as an extended monitor (useful for people who work from home).

It's an affordable and nice device to broadcast what's on my android device onto my tv. It does not mirror the screen of an apple products, though, unless the program has a chrome indication. Overall, it's the best thing for android device to tv mirroring but Apple TV is better if using an apple device

I have found this product really easy to set up and use. I use it mainly for Netflix and it works really well, never had any issues. Is affordable. I highly recommend it, it gets 5 stars from me, I couldn't live without!

I stream all movies from my computer to my TV using this device. A lot faster than the older model and more consistent. Best thing to buy if you like watching movies and/or YouTube on a TV instead of physically attaching a phone/computer.

What can you say about Chromecast? It's incredibly easy to use and set up. Streams to HDMI enabled tv from phone, tablet or computer. I like how you can personalize the idle screen. Sometimes we just sit around and watch the Nasa images ha.

It was an easy setup and it works great. My whole family uses it to cast netflix or youtube videos. The quality is very good. I bought it on sale for $20 and it's a steal. I would even say that full price is worth it.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to learn how to use this. Since there's no controller that comes with the device, you must use a compatible smart phone that can run the Google Home app, as well as the apps that you wish to stream, or "cast" it as the device refers to it. You open the app you want to watch (Netflix, Hulu, etc.), and begin streamcasting it from there. There is no UI on the device itself outside of the prompts to set it up and the screen saver that shows random photos. All of that said, here are the pros: - using your phone to control the device is kinda cool, but nothing unique since both the Apple TV and Roku have apps that function as controllers - the size of the device makes it very easy to plug in and not worry about wires exposed or finding space on the tv stand for it - coupled with a Google Home, it's kinda cool (but feels gimmicky) to tell it to resume watching a tv show and have it auto-start. Convenient when it works though. Cons: - a lack of a remote means you must have your phone ready to be used as a remote, meaning you have to stop using Facebook and load up whatever app you want to cast to begin watching something - lack of a remote also means it takes about 5 steps to pause whatever you're watching rather than the 1 step a remote with a pause button would take. You can't just ask Google Home to pause it for you, or at least it didn't work for me - even when the phone is ready to be used as a remote, that doesn't mean the app you used to begin streaming will have the controls. I haven't figured it out yet, but it seems like after some time passes, you can no longer use the app you're watching to control the Chromecast. Instead, you must open the Google Home app, view the connected devices, press pause, and wait to make sure it actually paused - telling Google Home to begin playing music to the cast or find a show to play doesn't always work. May be an issue with the Google Home, but sometimes the Chromecast does drop connection to the wifi as indicated by the screen saver no longer showing photos, so I'm leaning towards it being the Chromecast

I have every TV equipped with a chromecast. I also travel with one to make hotel TV's capable of receiving the content I want to push. It is extremely easy to set up and integrates perfectly with Google Home products.

Chromecast is definitely a great way to stream from your devices such as your smartphone and laptop. We currently cancelled our cable service, so this is a great way for us to watch Hulu and Netflix, as well as YouTube, etc. on our tv. Super easy to set-up and couldn't be a better price at only $35!

Why fumble with remotes you have to get used to. With the chromecast your phone is the remote and who doesn't know their phone inside and out these days? Basically any good streaming media app has support for this device which makes it easy as pie to cast whatever it is you want to watch to the TV.

Had gifted this chromecast to my family and it was simple setup and niece and nephew just love to stream their favorite cartoons to the TV , but the best part they both are below 6 years. Its so simple and small with great technology.

I previously purchased the Chrome stick, which I really liked. This newer model is even quicker and easier to set up. It's so convenient when i don't want to get out of bed to put in a DVD, I can just watch something from my phone.

The chromecast is easy to install and use. Once you download the app to your phone you can use your phone as a remote control..The quality of the pic is great. Perfect for someone who does not have a smart tv.

This little guy works well with all my TVs. Works like a charm mostly but on a rare occasion, it will loose connectivity. Easy to reconnect so it's not a big problem and only takes 10 secs to reconnect. Not as nice as a Apple TV but better than a Roku. Price is the best value for any streamer.
