I bought this for a second TV to stream what ever the TV didn't have an app for. So far this works really good. Easy set up. Great picture quality. I'm very impressed with how good this is for the price.

It's a lot easier than dealing with hdmi cables and netflix and hulu streaming is always on point. Haven't had any problems streaming. Also find it a very convenient product when streaming from my phone because it acts as a remote. Never have to get out of bed!

We were skeptical about this device; because it is so inexpensive, we figured it must not work well. But it DOES work. We love projecting stuff from our phones up on the TV. How did we live without it??

I owned the prior generation Chromecast, and I can honestly say this one is much better. I like that the dongle can be placed at just about any angle, to work with various TV sets. I also like that this one finally picks up 5GHz bands. This may not mean much to the average consumer, but most routers support both bands, and 5GHz is a much cleaner signal. These things work well, they tend to freeze up periodically, or drop when you are using a miracast enabled device. Seems like they get really warm, and after a while they cut out. Not a big deal, you just have to turn everything off and start again. If you are streaming netflix, youtube, or pandora they work great for starting the cast. I find that after a while if I go back into the app on my device, it starts playing on its own, and I have to reconnect to chromcast to control. These are just small things, for $35 you cant go wrong.

Google Chromecast provides exceptional high-quality (HDMI)Media streaming. It is easy to install and easy to stream favorite movies and music to TV through HDMI cable. I'm very please with the product.

If you have a phone, tablet, or pc; you need this device. It was so easy to set up. Download the Google Home app, plug the device into an available HDMI port and use the included power cord to fire it up. The rest is easy. Find a program, movie, game or whatever to cast and there you are. It also provides an array of programs, apps and movies for you to watch right out of the box. I have one on all 3 of my tvs.

Google chrome cast is great for a non-smart tv, and is easy to use with Netflix, etc. Sometimes it turns itself off if you're not using it, and then you have to unplug and replug it to have it recognize on devices - that's the only problem we've experienced.

The Chromecast is so much more convenient for streaming Netflix, YouTube, etc. than almost any other solution. Just tap the Chromecast icon on almost any media application and it appears instantly on your TV screen. Easy to set-up, affordable, and convenient!

Simple update to the chromecast that makes it a bit easier to use, and a TON faster in practice. There is not a huge incentive to upgrade, but if you're a new chromecast user, this is the way to go.

First of all, for people who already have a Chromecast, there's not much to see here. Aside from compatibility with 802.11 AC, there's really no added functionality. That can really make a difference though, especially if you already have a lot of devices on your network. Since I got it, I haven't noticed any buffering or seen it slip into SD. I really like the interface, which is run entirely through your cellphone, but it's not going to be for everyone. Very simple and easy to use, but if you want a remote, you're better off going with something like a Roku

This was a cheap and great way to turn my TV's into Smart TV's. I bought 2 of them and got back 2 $10 gift cards back. Works great. Easy to set up.

This thing is awesome! I have two Apple Tv's and a Roku and for the price it can't be beat. Good picture and aufio on YouTube, Netflix, and even Amazon. I cast from both an IPad and an Android phone.

I Love this product because I feel like I am using a Smart TV.. easy intallation just plug IT to your TV. I can watch Netflix, internet browse And a lot more for a reasonable price

I have really liked the original ChromeCast and have 5 of them, Grand Daughter knows how to use them perfectly. This version update seems to have fixed some of the issues I have seen with older ones.

I've had this for about 6 months now. Set up was very easy and so is casting. Great watching shows on the big screen. Should have bought this sooner. Definitely worth purchasing.

This is a great product and was a breeze to set up, I mostly use it for watching HBO Now (android has an app for it, but Xbox doesn't yet) but I've also used it for hulu and streaming hearthstone.

Incredibly easy to set up. Compact device is easy to hide behind a TV. Works very simply with minimal setup or fuss. Great for the whole family.

Its a really great product, easy to set up which is also a good thing and its fast. I wasnt sure if it was going to be good because i only overheard it from a co-worker. Buy glad i have it now..

Does everything you expect it to do and is compatible with apple and android devices and works like a charm. We have 2 for our house already and looking for a 3rd, so we have one in each room.

I already have a Roku 3 and a TiVo Roamio so I wondered if I really needed a Chromecast too, but I wanted to take advantage of the promotion going on so decided to give it a whirl. Though it can do some of the same things as my existing devices, it also fills a niche that neither of those devices does as well. For example, if I'm listening to Google Play Music on my phone, I can easily cast it over to my TV so it'll play out of my surround sound system and receiver. Videos from my laptop can easily be streamed over to the television in a smiliar manner, as simple as clicking the cast button. For the $25 I paid for it, I'm quite happy with what this handy little device can do. :)
