    I didn't get a smart TV because with a Chromecast I can have the most up to date streaming software at a low price. It was simple to set up and use. A good solution for viewing lots of content on your TV.

    I already had an old “original” chrome cast of you will for about 2 years and I loved it the only thing I didn’t like is that sometimes the chrome cast wouldn’t appear on the tv when I tried to use it, so I thought it might just be because it’s old. So on Black Friday I purchased this new one and it’s the exact same thing as the old one. No differences except for the body of the device.

    This really is a great product. I have it in my living room and love that I can easily switch from cable to Netflix with a switch of a button. It works great and it is an inexpensive alternative to a smart TV.

    Great device if you do not own a smart tv. Allow you to stream youtube, twitch, Netflix, etc. from your phone or computer (google chrome needed). Found myself using the device everyday since I've bought it!

    I read a lot of reviews about people having trouble connecting to their 5GHz WiFi but I just plugged mine in, it saw the 5GHz band (over the 2.4GHz band also running), connected right away, and automatically updated its firmware. I have TWC and my throughput is definitely better now. I think they must have finally fixed their issues.
