This is.my second google chromecast device that I am adding in my house. My office uses a different brand that does not compare to the quality and simplicity of google.

Pros: I can cast shows from YouTube, Netflix and others and that is nice. I used the USB plug on my TV so I did not need to use the power supply. I am planning on casting a fireplace scene this Christmas. Cool. Cons: Tends to get a bit warm. Using the USB as power leaves it running all the time regardless if I am using it or not. It needs to have a power off feature. Overall, it is worth the money if you have a $35 burning a hole in your pocket. So, good and better than a poke in the eye.

a device that gives a lot of pleasure when watching and listening. Gives a lot of convenience to deal with this in every room.

Great streaming device but sometimes freezes up or wi-fi unable to locate. Otherwise works as expected. Great buy at reasonable price.

Very simple to set up with on screen instructions. I love that you can take it with you..no more watching one channel in hotel rooms.

This was purchased as an update to a previous version 3+ years ago with which I have been very pleased.

Love it. Streams when I'm not looking at T.V. I'm still learning all of the features. Can't wait till I master them.

I do not have a smart TV but I was smart enough to finally get a smart phone. The smart person at Best Buy gave some smart advice recommending the ChromeCast device. I am now able to cast movies, and in fact, my entire screen to the TV via HDMI input effectively and inexpensively. Thank you

We travel a lot & love to watch those pictures again on our TV screen again once we get home. Love it!

It don't.matter if you have a smart tv, believe me YOU SHOULD have this at your house!

This product has easy setup, a great application that supports the process and is light and durable. I do not have to pay for cable anymore thanks to the Chromecast. What would you do with that extra money? I absolutely love this item.

This is what you want if you don't care about tv shows and want the best video/audio streaming device. The USB power cord(optional) works great. No cheap remote and streams all my apps seamlessly!

google is always looking for innovation. this 2nd generation of chrome cast is definitely worth buying at this time. together with google home, you'll get the most out of it!!

This device stands up to it's product name. Easy setup and works well with my Google apps. A must buy. After purchasing one, I have bought three more for my other HDMI TV's.

I love this device because it enables me to stream my favorite programs not only from my laptop but also from my cell phone without using a long HDMI cable.

Bought this for my daughter when she had surgery to use on her older tv to see movies on Netflix. Worked great - she really enjoyed it.
