I only have a tablet so this was perfect for streaming Netflix. Does its job perfectly , plus the pictures are great too

The Chromecast makes streaming extremely simple. The device is convenient, compact and easy to use. Setup is easy and straightforward with only HDMI and USB hookups.

I had the chromecast version 1 and I have used it for a while. I do not find any major difference between both the versions and since version 1 is no longer being manufactured I believe this would be the only choice left for buyers. It gets the job done to project my tab to the TV and also the YouTube video songs that are casted through phone or tablet always gets played in the 1080p mode. Overall satisfied with this purchase. Wish there were more Apps compatible with ChromeCast.

I had the older model and replaced it with this one. It works better with less lag than the previous model. Easy to install and works with all my devices with ease.

I own 3 of the origination Chromecasts and use quite extensively. There isn't much the original Chromecast you could improve upon – it was and is reliable, easy to setup and inexpensive as is the 2015. The 2015 Chromecast syncs with your mobile phone, tablet and PC as did its predecessor and even streams well at a lower bandwidth, Newflix, YouTube etc. Chromecast is a simple solution to putting audio and video on your TV, and at the same price of the original , why not buy new.

Easy set-up and easy to use. And I like how it has a very small footprint and takes up very little space.

Google chrome is amazing. Really easy to use and configure. I just see my notebook and cellphone videos on my tv now.

The ChromeCast is simple to install and set up. Connecting to your home wireless network is a piece of cake all handled by the ChromeCast app. The only caution I would have is to NOT enable "Guest" mode. The ChromeCast will attempt to become a wireless access point and may clash with your existing router. I accidentally enabled Guest mode and my wireless router became non-responsive an a regular interval. It turned out ChromeCast was attempting to make itself 192.168.1.1.

You just cannot go wrong with a Chromecast. The biggest reason any household needs this device is to stream shows from network websites that are not available on traditional streaming services such as Hulu because of some copyright streaming restriction. Now I can enjoy all of my shows just by streaming from my computer to the TV. You just can't go wrong with a Chromecast.

As long as you have a strong and consistent wifi signal, this product is recommened. It is easy to use, small and relatively inexpensive for its capabilities.

This device is easy and simple to use. I use it with 2 different TV alternatively. I like how the set up is saved so I don't have to keep resetting it every time I move it. I'm able to cast my media from my devices to my big screen with ease. That makes things so much better.
