ChromeCast V2.0

I do not find any major difference between both the versions and since version 1 is no longer being manufactured I believe this would be the only choice left for buyers. It gets the job done to project my tab to the TV and also the YouTube video songs that are casted through phone or tablet always gets played in the 1080p mode. Overall satisfied with this purchase. Wish there were more Apps compatible with ChromeCast.

Chromecast streaming medial player 2015

There isn't much the original Chromecast you could improve upon – it was and is reliable, easy to setup and inexpensive as is the 2015. The 2015 Chromecast syncs with your mobile phone, tablet and PC as did its predecessor and even streams well at a lower bandwidth, Newflix, YouTube etc. Chromecast is a simple solution to putting audio and video on your TV, and at the same price of the original , why not buy new.

Excellent wireless HD streaming

Connecting to your home wireless network is a piece of cake all handled by the ChromeCast app. The only caution I would have is to NOT enable "Guest" mode. The ChromeCast will attempt to become a wireless access point and may clash with your existing router. I accidentally enabled Guest mode and my wireless router became non-responsive an a regular interval. It turned out ChromeCast was attempting to make itself 192.168.1.1.

Awesome Streaming Product

The biggest reason any household needs this device is to stream shows from network websites that are not available on traditional streaming services such as Hulu because of some copyright streaming restriction. Now I can enjoy all of my shows just by streaming from my computer to the TV. You just can't go wrong with a Chromecast.

Now combined with my HDTV indoor antenna I have no need for satellite. I have Netflix,Hulu,HBO, any new network I chose. Watch what I want when I want. Share family pictures on the TV and videos from my phone & I-pad. All the apps merge to Chromecast,Pandora,You-Tube,my weather apps ect. If you have any issues and need tech support you get a live person and do not having to go through a 1 through 10 menu, with a 30 min wait time.
