Chromecast is very easily set up. Now combined with my HDTV indoor antenna I have no need for satellite. I have Netflix,Hulu,HBO, any new network I chose. Watch what I want when I want. Share family pictures on the TV and videos from my phone & I-pad. All the apps merge to Chromecast,Pandora,You-Tube,my weather apps ect. If you have any issues and need tech support you get a live person and do not having to go through a 1 through 10 menu, with a 30 min wait time.

This device is inexpensive and easy to set up. It might not do as much as some of the other streaming devices but ar the price point it is Worth the price.

Set up was very easy and quick to update. Works flawlessly with hulu and other streaming services.

I was totally ready to cut the cord and wanted something portable yet efficient. Easy to setup - practically plug/play. Just be aware that the streaming apps (for example: Netflix, Hulu, etc.) will need to be downloaded to your smartphone or tablet. Some may find this cumbersome but, if the Chromecast is being used on a TV that is seldom used it shouldn't be an issue. Note: I do use the Roku 3 on TVs that used on a regular basis.

This is great for those without a smart tv or gaming console. Really easy to set up and allows you to use your laptop with your tv to surf the internet. Some lag issues will occur depending on your wireless set up. Another plus is that you can bring it with you when you travel and use it wherever you go provided there's a tv with an HDMI port and wireless connectivity.

I mainly use this to watch YouTube and Netflix. I already have YouTube and Netflix on my phone so all I need to do is press the cast button and bam! The video, TV show, or movie is suddenly on my TV. This is great for me since I always have my phone with me and you don't need a remote to control what you want to watch. Anyone in your family that's connected to your Wi-Fi can also cast. It's extremely easy to share or watch something together with this little device (it's pretty tiny). I love this more than any of my other smart devices, it's portable and works great. I've never had issues with it unless it was a problem with a certain app going slow. It's certainly not the Chromecast's fault, sometimes the app being used is wonky on its own. I've never had problems with YouTube, Netflix, HBO Now, VUDU, etc. Low rated apps like DirecTV Now and FandangoNOW don't work as well, but that's on the app. I love my Chromecast and I recommend it to anyone who uses their phone constantly.

The product was exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to setup and work extremely well with my devices.

Loved the first gen Chromecast, so easy to use! New one is marginally better, but most people probably won't see much of a difference. I figured for such a small amount, why not. Connection seems to be stronger and a little speed increase as well. Certainly gives you more room for plugging it in on tight spots, won't have issues like you could have potentially had with the stick style of the first gen model. Highly recommend though, it's the best deal going.

This Chromecast is better than the first generation one I have.It gives a better stream and is simple to use!

Main reason I got this was to cast Netflix from my phone to my new TV. Does just that, no hiccups what's so ever. Directions were very straight forward and easy to understand. Bought an extra one for my Mom, who isn't too tech swavy, and she was able to get it up and running in no time!

My oldest daughter, 16, asked me for this about 4 months ago. Her and her twin sister have this in their room, which they share, and the youngest, 10, would always take over. Being the older ones, of course they would kick her out so I decided to buy another one for my room, in which the youngest one sleeps, and we all love it. I can hear music while I'm cleaning and we could watch videos from YouTube all on the TV. It's amazing. Especially on Samsung phones, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars because it's a little more complicated on the iPhone. Either way I recommend!

This product is easy to use and faster than the previous model, which itself wasn't bad. I use it mostly for my Android and iOS devices, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Youtube. It's worth every penny. It's certainly much better than any smart TV or the expensive AppleTV that I have ever used.

I had some doubts about them originally. I have hardwired connection everywhere and as there only boast WiFi I was not sure how they perform with hd content. As turns out they work flawlessly, no hickups thus far and quality is superb. Easy to use too. One thing to note is apparent rivelry between gogle and amazon: if you want to stream amazon prime through an android you will have to jump through some hoops. Other then that all content is easy to get to.

Chromecast is very easy to install. Looks slick. Works well -- speedy and access to a lot of digital content.

This works great to stream YouTube, Google movies, mirror your phones. And especially awesome if you have a Google mini to pair it with.

Chromecast is the best product to stream everything and also the cheapest in the market! Highly recommended!

This is a great Roku and Apple TV alternative. Needed a low cost streaming solution because my Roku player is unstable with CBS All Access. This was the least costly option with the opportunity to add a LAN connection ($15 option from Google). Working off of my iPad is easy and preferred to the Roku GUI on the TV screen. Resolution and speed of the device is excellent. I'd consider a second for my basement TV. Recommended.

Much faster than the 1st gen. Google added 5GHZ in conjunction with 2.4GHZ. Love "casting" content to my TV!

Meet my expectations. Machine works well. I was looking for something economical and also good performance. This meet both expectations
