This was purchased as I make plans to cut the cord on cable TV. Installation was simple and we enjoy it. I found an app to stream my video and that's a plus.

Spent some time looking at different products and reviews. I am still a bit confused about one thing I have read. My wife was hoping she could see anything from her computer screen on the TV but so far it seems you can only see content from streaming sites like You Tube and Netflix and photos from a smart phone. Can't figure out if it is possible to view documents or other programs.

It is a nice color, the sound quality is fantastic, and the noise cancelling is outstanding. It is also stylish.

Real easy to use and simple to connect . I used it for viewing movies on my television and it couldn't have worked better . I'm on YouTube a lot as well and I was also able to watch that from the phone on the television . As long as you have a dedicated wifi connection you can't go wrong with this .

once we figured out how to use it, it works great could use better instructions for those of us who are clueless

The chromecast is one of the best smart tv devices around, hands down. Being able to stream anything you want to it is awesome. The only reason it can be annoying is because it takes up the screen of whatever you are using, meaning you cannot use texting while the video is playing on the tv.

Great way to bring your TV into the wireless world, Samsung TV, Samsung Tablet, Chromecast, a great combination.

Works great. We attached it to our Samsung 85" TV in our training room at work. The team loves it.

if you are looking for a basic casting device , this is great. Although i recommend the tv sticks more

This is my second Chromecast, the first one I gave away with the TV it was on and had bragged about it to my daughter to whom I gave the TV, so with new TV, needed a new Chromecast. They work really great, just wish all the software running on my PC would be compatible.

I purchased Chromecast because I have a Samsung TV and wanted to cast content mostly from my laptop. However all the devices we have are apple and it turned out to be very difficult to cast anything form the devices without having to download extensions, plug-ins or extra apps. We tried it for a couple of weeks and decided it would be better to get apple TV. In the end I could no really say more about the functionality and quality of the product because we didn't use it for a long time but decided to write a review hoping to help people like me with mostly apple devices to have a better idea. It's probably a great product for samsung/android/chrome users and I understand that most of the limitations in apple products compatibility are by design but the lower score I give it is not because of flaws but to inform apple users of this issue with compatibility.

It is pretty simple to use. The quality is good when you have wifi. Useful.

I had an older original version of the chrome cast but the new ones are great. Same functions but better response speed partly bc the 5g wifi

Now with the 5GHz WiFi band and seemingly faster performance, this chromecast smooths out the kinks of the first.

The original one was good, but this one is a great improvement on that one since this new model has 5ghz support.

Cool new look.. snappier functionality. I'm still surprised that many don't know about the chromecast still. I enjoy utilizing my favorite apps wherever I go

Chromecast is better than Fire TV in terms of setup. I have both and it was hard to set up my fire tv stick. Amazon had to ship out a second fire stick to get my account to work properly to stream amazon prime videos. Both are excellent price for anyone who wants to cut the cable!

Purchased Google - Chromecast (2015 Model) for my father in law to watch tv shows from his mobile. Works great.

Good value. Would have kept it but returned it because I changed to a different streaming service.

This is our second chrome cast. We use it to cast several different things to our tv. Works great.
