Living in an RV we don't have a lot of space for DVDs, this works great. Easy to install. I recommend using your tablet as the "remote control" instead of your phone for no interruptions. Maybe it would be fine, but only my phone is smart, lol.

I purchased this unit to replace my original Chromecast for the faster speed, and audio streaming from spotify. While I was initially hesitant to update, in the end I'm glad I did as it has been a worthwhile update. Response time when casting is much faster than on previous models.

IT's so easy and convenient to use. Literally plug it in and sync it to WiFi and you are good to go!

We purchased a few Google Chromecasts when it first came out a few years ago. Not only did we love it, our family did as well. We recently purchased two more. An extra for us and another to give as a gift to the family!

I wanted this just to cast certain programs I couldn't access through my PlayStation 3. As it turns out, it's the easiest way to access streaming shows from virtually any app! Absolutely love it. Bought it on a Black Friday sale and feel like I've already gotten value from it!

Enjoying it so far, know many people who have one and they really enjoy, so figured it was my turn.

To preface, I have Apple products, so this is not my product of choice for that reason. However, Chromecast is a decent alternative to Apple TV but does not have the ease and intuitiveness of its Apple counterpart. Also, the fact that you have to download the app and cannot actual mirror your phone(only certain apps) just isnt very helpful. If you want to stream certain apps or use the Chrome browser, this is a fine product.

Purchased Chromecast so we could watch videos and view pictures from phone on our smart tv. Can easily view all other options available on Chromecast. Have an android phone and insignia tv. The ease and use of it with the house wifi was great. Had to download the app to phone.

Really good product, I used to use the old Chrome Cast and now this new unit is fast and reliable.

It works pretty good and has many apps that works so good for my entertainment needs.

It is a awesome device to watch international dramas and movis. I really like it.!!!

For those of you unready to upgrade to a smart TV, or who want the same function on a budget, look no further. Chromecast is power efficient, packed with features, and takes up very little space. A must have for any home media network on a finite budget.

I bought it to be able to update my TV in order to watch Netflix. It works very good.

I followed all directions and they were simple to set up, i found that streaming works very well but only from some devices, it streams well from android devices like my phone and tablet, but will not stream from my lenova 2 in one laptop that is only 3 months old, it also wont stream from my 2 month old samsung chrome laptop.

I bought the original Chromecast when it first came out. It always had issues losing connectivity. I haven't had any issues with this one since I got it about a month ago. iPhone casting is OK but it doesn't work as well as an Android phone. My Pixel let's me cast everything.

Great product!! I would recommend to all that are looking to expand their smartphone capabilities.

I haven't really seen any significant upgrades from the first version but very stable nonetheless.

For me, it is a relaxing feeling to have my phone in hand and watching what i do on my tv. Great.
