I purchased the chromecast for the tv in bedroom and it works great! Looking to invest in another!

I followed all directions and they were simple to set up, i found that streaming works very well but only from some devices, it streams well from android devices like my phone and tablet, but will not stream from my lenova 2 in one laptop that is only 3 months old, it also wont stream from my 2 month old samsung chrome laptop.

I've always used an Apple TV and I thought it was unbeatable. I wanted to try a Chromecast and I was really surprised. It's simple, fast (no lag) and it does what it promises.

This is definitely better than it's predecessor. LIght speeds faster and better UI. Great product.

When your Smart TV comes from a time when BT was not a feature, this is what you need.

Bought as gift for my son. He loves it.Used his brother's before and said he had to have one too.

Works great for presentations, viewing photograps and webpages. Quite a bit laggy on HD videos - where it might be a wifi issue too though.

Works like a charm for Netflix. Does not work for some other things I had hoped for, e.g. safari, firefox, photoshop elements.

If you own an Android phone, you cannot go wrong with a Chromecast purchase. For those of you deciding between Roku and this, let me highlight pros and cons. Roku 3: Only pro for me is the headphone jack on remote which I absolutely need to watch movies without disturbing others (TV has no audio out). Roku 3 works fine for most apps but app selection is small and YouTube cast is a hit or miss at times. Cannot cast Spotify premium directly from phone to Roku. Chromecast: I love how snappy its integration with apps on my phone is. With LocalCast I can route audio to phone but only for local files, not Netflix, YouTube or Hulu (which I mostly watch). Amazon video from the app does not routes to Chromecast (it does from Chrome browser though) I have both the devices now and I use Chromecast for YouTube or other screen casting, Roku 3 for Netflix and other streaming services where I would need headphone connection.

easy to setup, works great for casting from my phone.

This little tool comes in quite handy when you want to project your screen onto a tv.

Works efficiently, i can watch anything on my HDTV with chrome cast through my smart phone or ipad

Great value for the price. Has worked fine for over 3 months. Would recommend as a cheap option to have on TV's with no smart capabilities

At first it was a hassle downloading the huge mega update, had to contact my ISP for opening ports to allow, first it wasnt as seemless as i wanted to, but then after getting things working it now truly works flawless! Do reccomend to have patience if you run to some issue during set-up this is to me an apple tv replacement.

Very easy to set up and frequently used for HBOGo, Netflix, as well as YouTube videos. Also frequently used to view recent photos or video taken during trips. So easy to use my nephews enjoy taking control and playing music and videos. Highly recommended.

These are great, super easy setup. Very easy to use. You can cast almost anything to it, YouTube, Facebook, Pandora, Netflix, etc. Comes with a power adapter if your TV doesn't have a USB port. I do wish you could create a group like you can with the audio Chromecast.

I got a Google Home Mini on Christmas so I decided to buy Google Chromecast to enhance my home automation system. Google Chromcast is easy to install and to operate. Basically it needs to be connected to your TV and enter a code to pair devices and you're set.

Worked exactly as advertised. Was able to show all the pics I had taken on vacation on my HD TV.

So glad I'm able to do screen mirroring with this model. Works great with my Samsung Tab S and S6
