Excellent device to play videos from a cell phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Chromecast device is very convenient when you want to play a video from your phone but want to watch on a big screen. It is also easy to share what your watching with the people around you when all it takes is a few clicks to get your video on the tv screen.

Must Have Portable device to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy associate encouraged me to buy this. Said all I needed was to plug it into my tv and that was it. WRONG! You have to register it on a portable device (ie Ipod, Iphone, laptop, etc) the first time you use it, or it is absolutely useless! I had to call Google for help. Had to use my daughter's ipod to make it work on my tv. Then you have to leave a pc window open to basically use as a selection device and remote!

Life-changing!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love Chromecast! I just plug it into my tv in my room, and can watch youtube or netflix or anything super easily. When it isn't in use, it displays really pretty pictures on a slideshow. I'm able to still use my computer while netflix is in the background. Love it!

Perfect addition to any TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In a day and age of smart devices; specifically smart TVs, the Chromecast can allow one to make non smart TV become smart through one's smartphone, tablet or chromebook. Add in the ability to cast content from those devices and one can't beat the value.

Chromecasts are amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned a lot of devices for streaming internet content, and of all of them, the chromecast is my favorite. No one has to fight over the remote because your phone, computer or tablet is the remote. Easy to setup, easy to let guests use and easy to get started.
