I love mirroring my screen on a big tv, it enhances the overall experience of your phone

Installed on an older flat screen TV for a spare room. It appears to be connected properly. Having difficulty casting to it. This may be due to distance from router, directv now software or user fault. Have not yet tried the Google app on it. Nevertheless, good option if you don't want to buy all new TVs.

Couldn't be happier with this. We have one connected to each tv in the house.

Chromecast makes me to mirror anything on my phone to TV and also works great using Google Home. I can say "play Avengers:infinity war on netflix" then it will play for me without searching nor touching any menus on netflix. Simply AWESOME!!

Works great getting additional channels at the TV get more fun and diversity

It worked as advertised. It is plug and play once you have it connected to your network.

I love being able to transfer what I'm viewing on my phone to it. There is a couple apps that I would like to be able to use on the chrome cast but luckily the important ones work on it like Netflix, YouTube, Spotify and Pandora so overall it was a good buy and I recommend, its not all that expensive either.

I love the Chromecast. I have a very old TV in my room and now I don't have to hook up my laptop to the TV in order to watch my shows. Now I can multitask, watching TV through Chromecast with my phone while doing my homework on my laptop. It works like a dream.

It’s great that you can use your phone as a remote- i previously had a fire stick and constantly lost the remote!!

I bought my second chromecast last month, buying my first five year ago. I use them more than use my streaming channels for projecting my online MOOCs from my desktop, my screens from my smart phones, and watching the interesting backdrops.

I travel plus have events at home and the chrome cast has been great for entertainment!

It works great. It loses connection to the wifi sometimes but it might just be the wifi.

Prefer the Apple Airplay over the Chromecast anyday

I purchased this to cut the ties with my cable company. It is very easy to set up and being able to use it on my smartphone and then send to my television is an amazing feature point. I am able to pull up and watch my favorite shows and channels along with saying goodbye to cable and their high and always increasing prices.

The product does exactly what it is supposed to do. Would highly recommend. Wish there was more detail on how to use it, though.

I actually bought this for my brother who has a NON-smart tv and this basically turned his TV into a Smart TV..... Easy to install and use. The coolest part about this devise is that u can actually mirror your phone to your tv. I'm buying one for myself now.

It's a chromecast that works, I don't know if there is anything else I can say about it.

Wasn't too informed about this before buying just heard olot of "hype" about it. Wanted to get rid of cable but you still need to download apps and have some type of subscription to cable to be able to watch your favorite networks. You can watch things like Youtube but every now and again the chromecast will freeze and discontinue the showe . I guess with all the other competitors out there its really no different.

Works faster than my first Gen chromecast and supports 5G WiFi. Product still has some bugs for streaming, though.
