This is a cheap and easy way to get to my Netflix and Hulu. I also like how I can cast my laptop to my TV - just like how I can airplay my iPhone to my TV with Apple TV. I also like how the Chrome disc is magnetic, so it doesnt hang down the back of my TV.

It works well and doesn't cost much. Some might not like the fact that there's no remote/on screen interface and that you need a mobile device in order to use it. However, it's simple to use and I've had no issues in the weeks I've used it.

You have an old TV that has an HDMI I would say getting this is a no-brainer

I use this to stream sports events that are on line and watch them on my TV.

My son said I needed one of those and I went to Best Buy to get one. I'm happy with it.

Been experimenting with a few ways to cut the cord and go without cable in the near future and this was one of the best. The option to stream from any device in my home is convenient and the quality of the video is just as good as watching a show on cable.

This works just as well as the older version. I like it but I like the old look better.

Before I bought CC, I purchased the Roku player but was not pleasantly surprised to find that almost everything requires subscriptions (.e.g, netflix, etc.), which just reduced the value of the player for me significantly. CC's, in contrast, just lets you transfer whatever you are watching (almost) to your TV or monitor screen.

Took a few times to setup, but seems to work fine. My daughter uses it to cast YouTube. We have Google Fiber and supposedly able to use the Fiber app to mirror the iPhone to the screen using this device, but haven't tried it. But, for $35, it works as it should and saves me from having to spend $10/month on a cable box.

Purchased this google chromecast for my daughter and she likes it very much.

With the Google Chromecast I am able to watch my Netflix movies on a TV in my bedroom.

Major upgrade for the older model...picks up better signal and loads video/sound faster.

If you have a 'non-smart' TV; you are already smart because you saved money. Now all you need to do is buy a Chromecast and "boom", your smart again. Plus you can take it with you... vacations, wherever you can plug it in, and watch all your favorite shows!

Chromecast is easy to connect and use. I only gave 4 stars because sometimes there's a problem with the connection, but otherwise it's a great device to watch videos on TV and able to leave the app that is playing the video and use my iPhone on something else. I mainly use chromecast on YouTube and Dramafever apps.

I bought 3x more of these as stocking stuffers and spares. Def recommended!

I have a chromecast in every room to stream Showbox and Netflix. I love it.

Interface is a little clunky and might not work all streaming services. New design is much better compared to the older version.

Great little device. Easy to install/setup and use. However there are a few sites that you cannot cast from directly. You can work around it by watching it on your phone and casting your screen. Another negative; you need to pay for most of the sites in the app.
