I purchased the original Chromecast and I am happy with the 2nd generation. First off plugging into HDMI port is easier. The overall product is good and can even support non Chromecast apps if your cast your screen. This worked flawlessly with my Nexus 6p.

I love the google chromecast. It is a dead-simple way to get your phone's content on to your TV. I use a streaming box for watching netflix and other services, however this fits in perfectly to mirror phone/computer screens or watch youtube videos.

It works well, the sound quality is amazing. And it has great control over volume.

I brought this for my husband so while on bed rest he could watch tv in bed. Best gift I could have ever brought him. I just love it.. After I get the kids in bed I go relax while watching tv in bed and unwind. I really like that it is so easy to use.

Good product for the money. I was trying to find a product so I could mirror videos from my phone to my TV. Mission accomplished. However every now and then it does not connect immediately and/or my tv goes black when I am watching regular programming. But I just unplug it when this happens. It's like my TV is a smart tv now.

Chromecast is the best way to watch TV. Your phone is so much easier to navigate what you want to watch then a remote. Then you just cast it when you find what you want. And you tend not to lose your phone like your remote. I have one for all TVs in my house.

Easy to set up,great response with your IOS or ANDROID DEVISE. On expensive and reliable for streaming . I plug it on to my HDMI receiver and the sound comes out trough my speakers and the picture trough my TV . Just try it out , you won't be disappointed.

We bought the Google Chromecast so that we could turn our older flat screen TV into a "smart TV", enabling us to watch Netflix, Hulu, gain access to internet radio, etc. Best money we could have ever spent improving our old TV without having to buy a new one!

In bought two on sale and use them more than cable. Great to have in multiple rooms.

Being able to cast images and music to a monitor has made my app appreciation rise.

I have the older version as well. Haven't been able to tell a difference in quality.

This device makes TV viewing more enjoyable. Wireless feature is great.

I love my Chromecast. It's so convenient being able to watch my phone on my TV with just a click of a button. The only thing I'd mention is sometimes it doesn't work when overheated and you have to unplug it so it'll cool down. That's a little frustrating but luckily doesn't happen often. Definitely a must have item!!

I upgraded to this newer model and it is easy to use. I did have trouble setting the unit up. I kept getting a warning that I did not have an internet connection, which was not true. I gave up after several tries and came back later just to have the set up complete without a hitch. Go figure.

Wife didnt want me to get it, said it another piece of junk i buy we never use. SHE now uses it ALL the time now. She has her phone and tablet hooked to it and watches videos and shares pictures. Easy to use and it just works every time. Get one!

Chromecast is a great way to view content from phone, laptop, or tablet onto the tv.

Set-up went smoothly and Chromecast works very well. Just understand that not all apps are castable, cast-capable, or cast-ready. Not everything can be cast. Hopefully cast capability will expand with time. Video quality of the cast data is excellent.

Have not had any issues .. works like it should and has not broke yet !
