It is exactly what I wanted . Easy to hook up and was watching TV in a few minutes.

Works as good as the previous model for the same price . seams like the ac wireless is fast enough to streams netflix etc..

Actually I only got to use it 3 times, as my son was house sitting and now it's at his house! LOL But It was easy to use and great for when my husband is watching Football on the Smart TV in the Family room I can catch up on my Netflix in the bedroom!

This is the most underrated product out there. Sky the limit with what you can do.

This is easy to setup and portable. It has all the needed applications for videos.

I like the fact that videos I took can be reviewed on my big screen TV.

I can't imagine not having one of these now, it's really great if you're into YouTube and don't feel like watching it on a phone or computer. You can stream almost any video through these and they are very easy to use.

I gave this as a gift and the person loves it and has been getting good use of it.

This device is a great add on for TV’s without smart TV options. It allows you to cast any webpage viewed when using google chrome as a web browser, as well as gives you the ability to cast your favorite apps such as YouTube, Netflix .

I like the Chrome. Didn't know much about it until a Best Buy employee made the suggestion. We appreciate her assistance.

Chromecast is an amazing product. Only 4 stars cause the old version worked great with my receiver. This version does not.

The product has worked quite well so far. There has been no complaints from friends and family about its use.

The Problem with Smart TVs, tablets and Smart phones is that you can't access ALL webpages. Most of the time you are forced to "mobile compatible webpages" that don't show everything. I had this problem trying to watch specific soccer game that are not on cable. I usually could find them on my laptop but not my iPad. With this device, I can browse any webpage, from my laptop, find what I'm looking for and broadcast to my TV. You can also broadcast from your cell or tablet as chromecast has and app for any mobile device and browser plugin for Chrome. Best part: you can broadcast the webpage, maximize the screen of what is playing, and the TV will show it full screen. Also use other browser tabs to surf the web while it still streams your content to your TV. No buffering (unless the website itself has problems). One wish: if it could Bradcast in 1080p (max res is 720p.)

I upgraded to this newer model and it is easy to use. I did have trouble setting the unit up. I kept getting a warning that I did not have an internet connection, which was not true. I gave up after several tries and came back later just to have the set up complete without a hitch. Go figure.

Bought this for my living room and everyone loves how convenient it is

Previously had a 1st gen chromecast that I absolutely loved. Decided to upgrade to the new gen for the upgraded wifi signal and it was definitely worth it. My videos never lag anymore and runs faster with my 5g connection i couldnt utilize before.

Was using a WEI for streaming Netflix and utube videos. This is by far better. Using your cell phone you can also Chromcast your personal videos and photos. You can also use your flat-screen as a monitor for your cell phone when searching the web.
