Previously had a 1st gen chromecast that I absolutely loved. Decided to upgrade to the new gen for the upgraded wifi signal and it was definitely worth it. My videos never lag anymore and runs faster with my 5g connection i couldnt utilize before.

I gave this as a gift and the person loves it and has been getting good use of it.

I purchased the chromecast to make things easier for out mobile employees at my company to present from their devices to our conference room TV. They Are able to do thi effortlessly now without dealing with extra cables,etc.

After the initial setup, the operation is very easy. The problem is the lack of instruction. I don't mind that it is online, it just needs to be thorough. Once we could cast our screen, we had no audio. Your TV input audio has to be set to digital but that wasn't mentioned anywhere - found that on a user forum.

I couldn't afford $159 per month for cable and internet anymore so I decided to get rid of my cable. I got 25 mb internet from Centurylink for $29.99 per month, Netflix for $9.99 per month and Playstation Vue Slim package for $35 per month. My cable and internet bill is now $75 per month. I use my Chromecast to watch in my bedroom. I also like taking my Chromecast to the mountains when we stay at our condo. I got an Edimax mini travel router to get around the WiFi login page at the resort and I can watch any channels they don't have plus all my VUDU, Disney, and Google Play movies. I got my friends one as a housewarming gift because they downgraded to basic cable. They love how they can watch On Demand and the kids can watch Disney On Demand as well as the digital copies of movies they own. Everyone should have a Chromecast!

I like the Chrome. Didn't know much about it until a Best Buy employee made the suggestion. We appreciate her assistance.

Was using a WEI for streaming Netflix and utube videos. This is by far better. Using your cell phone you can also Chromcast your personal videos and photos. You can also use your flat-screen as a monitor for your cell phone when searching the web.

The Problem with Smart TVs, tablets and Smart phones is that you can't access ALL webpages. Most of the time you are forced to "mobile compatible webpages" that don't show everything. I had this problem trying to watch specific soccer game that are not on cable. I usually could find them on my laptop but not my iPad. With this device, I can browse any webpage, from my laptop, find what I'm looking for and broadcast to my TV. You can also broadcast from your cell or tablet as chromecast has and app for any mobile device and browser plugin for Chrome. Best part: you can broadcast the webpage, maximize the screen of what is playing, and the TV will show it full screen. Also use other browser tabs to surf the web while it still streams your content to your TV. No buffering (unless the website itself has problems). One wish: if it could Bradcast in 1080p (max res is 720p.)

Simple set up. No confusion. Works non stop. Absolutely no negatives.

Chromecast is an amazing product. Only 4 stars cause the old version worked great with my receiver. This version does not.

My mom loves her new gift, she us do glad to enable to watch Netflix.

Works really great for YouTube and Netflix. To bad it won't work with all videos overall very happy with it.

The Chromecast device was easy to install. I primarily wanted it to watch movies and videos from Amazon and other sites on my flat-screen TV, and it works seamlessly for that. It works reliably and is easy to use. I highly recommend it

Allow us to cast TV and movies from any device. Great to go to YouTube and find something that we like and then watch it in the big screen. Was a gift from my son to us. Best gift ever. I will recommend this product to all my friends and family.

I own a tv with Roku built in, its great for some apps, but lacks a few and struggles to use some of them. This chrome cast allows me to use the apps that are missing from my roku. My only complaint is I wish there was a remote attached to it and an existing interface.

I bought two of these for my early 60s parents who were just making the leap to cutting the cord. Was super easy for them to set up on their own, with little guidance from me, and they are using it every day without issues.
