After the initial setup, the operation is very easy. The problem is the lack of instruction. I don't mind that it is online, it just needs to be thorough. Once we could cast our screen, we had no audio. Your TV input audio has to be set to digital but that wasn't mentioned anywhere - found that on a user forum.

I liked specially the streaming velocity and 5,0GHz band support. I'm using in a business environment working perfectly.

it has met my need but it's lack of apps. need to increase more app to use chromecast.. should be any app - wayyyy better

I couldn't afford $159 per month for cable and internet anymore so I decided to get rid of my cable. I got 25 mb internet from Centurylink for $29.99 per month, Netflix for $9.99 per month and Playstation Vue Slim package for $35 per month. My cable and internet bill is now $75 per month. I use my Chromecast to watch in my bedroom. I also like taking my Chromecast to the mountains when we stay at our condo. I got an Edimax mini travel router to get around the WiFi login page at the resort and I can watch any channels they don't have plus all my VUDU, Disney, and Google Play movies. I got my friends one as a housewarming gift because they downgraded to basic cable. They love how they can watch On Demand and the kids can watch Disney On Demand as well as the digital copies of movies they own. Everyone should have a Chromecast!

Chromecast is a value for money product. The best way to stream multimedia on TV.

I got this as a gift for a relative that I regularly spend time with so I do have time to regularly use and evaluate this device. The ony issue I had was making the connection initially but that could have been the other pieces of equipment not the Chromecast Device. Once properly paired this device worked seamlessly.

Allow us to cast TV and movies from any device. Great to go to YouTube and find something that we like and then watch it in the big screen. Was a gift from my son to us. Best gift ever. I will recommend this product to all my friends and family.

It's been used everyday at the house. It's good because we can watch YouTube now on the tv and not on our little iPads and iPhones. Great product for the price. Haven't had time to use other features yet. It's a great addition to our home theater.
