    I love using the Google chrome to stream Netflix and Spotify to my room's TV. I only wish there was more functionality for it. This is a minor point, but the screensaver images make s beautiful backdrop if you are busy with something.

    As long as you don't want a dedicated remote and are fine with starting transmission from your device, this is the streamer to get. Sure, the Roku Streaming stick has dedicated channels and remote, but it's also more expensive than this.

    We have TVs that are not 'smart'. Well, because of this product, they became smarter. We are able to use our Samsung phone, iPad, iPhone to watch Netflix and other available movies. Yes baby, you were exactly what I was looking for!

    I purchased this because it was on sale; otherwise, I didn't really need it from my gen1 Chromecast. It has better specs (namely 802.11ac support), but overall the performance is the same. Given it was sub-$25 and included 3 months of HBO Now, it was worth it - othwerise, I would hold off on it.

    Have cable and Google Chromecast 2, no problems streaming, rarely down buffering.....would cut cable if wife didn't watch multiple shows... Lots of free content out there and we have netflix.....have Amazon prime but that goes thru smart tv not gc2. Wife also subscribed to CBS allaccess....

    If you like watching stuff you stream on your computer but like seeing it on a larger screen the this product is great ... watching anime you can't watch on the regular except on a website on a 60" flat screen and not lose quality ...

    I ordered two of the first generation Chromecasts long time ago and two of the second generation Chromecasts last black Friday. I'm totally in love with this device so I bought this third one for my mom. Great and simple device to cast my favorite films and shows from Netflix and YouTube TV
