    I also own the ultra version but i like this one better. It plugs into the TV's hdmi and usb ports so you don't even need a power cord. It is perfect for a wall mounted tv. I have one for every tv I own.

    If you do not own a smart TV and wish to get all thise benefits of a smart TV, within a budget this is for u. Can stream a ton of things onto your TV from your iphone or android. Good quality and great price

    Same as the original model from a feed back but why change something that works. Like the simplicity and video quality but again wished for a remote controller or HDMI control to make more TV surfng friendly.

    I can't say enough about how this little item has helped our family. My husband has low vision and being able to show photos, etc. on the TV has greatly improved his quality of life. Easy to install and easy to use.

    The only reason why I got this was for my office computer since it is an Hp and I can cast my presentations directly to my tv. Not really using it for tv purposes I do have Amazon prime and my Apple TV at home which I live by.

    My daughter doesn't really watch tv but, loves youtube. So, we ended up getting rid of the cable box in her room and getting the Chromecast for her tv. She really loves it and we saved some getting rid of the cable box.

    I do not subscribe to any cable packages. This device does what it says it does. I'm able to cast shows from my devices to my TV. It also allows me to multitask once my show is casting. Better than Apple TV and cheaper.

    If you watch a lot of videos via phone or tablet and find yourself having tons of people looking over your shoulder all of the time this is the product for you. Stream directly to your TV to get them off yo back!!

    I'm not a techy person and was concerned it would be too complicated for me to connect. It was so easy to install, simply plug in wall and TV, download chromcast app. That's it, even I could handle that. I love this product!

    Who needs a smart TV when u have this attached. Can stream almost anything from any Android device weather is a smartphone or tablet. Once its connected, it is simple to figure out and use even for beginners.

    ...but not all that convenient, as pausing/rewinding/etc is about tedious. I don't actually use this very often, and use my Roku (and remote) more. You can cast from your computer or phone to a Roku, and then use the roku's remote for controls, where as this has no dedicated remote.
