    Really and truly this is a great product. I bought it because we lost our remote at home and when I move back to college, we won't have a way to connect the TV to Netlifx, and the chromecast is perfect for that.

    I love my Google Chrome cast. I don’t have a smart TV so it is awesome that I can find YouTube videos or movies etc. on my iPad and then cast it to my TV ! So glad I made this purchase .

    Pros: Easy to setup, both on your TV and your Mac, or Android device. On the Mac, it won't Screencast everything, but if you are streaming from a browser, it works well. Also tried from my Android phone and works well.

    I bought this to use with my google home and works like a charm. Nothing feels more futuristic when you walk in the house and say ok google watch YouTube and YouTube starts to play. I got this on sale for $25 and it does the job it was designed to do. No more no less.

    Fairly satisfied but two improvements needed. Wanted to use for casting slide/video presentations at remote sites. Won't w/o WiFi internet access - have to set up wifi hotspot w/ cellphone to get it to work - needs a Miracast like option to allow direct casting from lap top/tablet/smartphone! Also won't cast Amazon Prime Video.

    This is a great tool to start streaming media on your tv. It doesn't have built in services as an Amazon stick would but it can still mirror anything off of your iPad. I would get media packages up and running on a mobile device before you jump to this to stream on a larger screen.
