This is a must have device for anyone that travels and wants to stream content from their phone or tablet to a flat screen. I take this when I travel and stream all my movies to the hotel room tv.

This is a great tool to start streaming media on your tv. It doesn't have built in services as an Amazon stick would but it can still mirror anything off of your iPad. I would get media packages up and running on a mobile device before you jump to this to stream on a larger screen.

Love my new Chromecast. Laptop, Tablet, Phone, Youtube, Netflix, Chrome... all casting beautifully on my big HD screen. Hardly any lag. New model had better WiFi, too.

I purchased this item on sale so we can watch what is on tablet or phone on television. I did a lot of research before hand to understand the ease of use and set up. Very happy with it and it works well.

I was kinda surpised that it doesnt work with blutooth speaker without a transmitter.

I only have Netflix and Hulu so I live for this device! My living room TV is a smart TV but my bedroom TV is not and without this I would have nothing. It is simple to use and never fails me. I highly recommend this!

Great way to watch my shows from Netflix. I love that I can just throw up anything from my phone or laptop onto my 50 inch television. Great concept and LOW price.

Hooked the Chromecast up to my TV and it configured in moments and has been working as advertised.

Who would have thought such a small device could deliver so much? My phone never leaves my side and the ability to use it as a 'smart remote' for the variety of streaming services I subscribe to saves so much time.

I purchased the original Chromecast a while back and used it pretty frequently. I gave the original to my parents to pick up this one. Outside of the design, there doesn't seem to be many improvements based on how the Chromecast works. The Chromecast is only as good as the apps that you want to connect it with, so there are times where there is good support and cooperation and times when it is flat out bad. For example, the MLB app works with the Chromecast, but has some pretty significant flaws, making it frustrating to try and watch games when both my TV and my device are streaming the game at different rates when the TV should be streaming and the app should be the remote. It is however, excellent with Youtube and Netflix. TLDR Version: If you already have one, it's not worth upgrading. If you want to stream what's on your device onto your TV, it's good for the most part and it's worth a shot if your favorite apps are compatible.
