Purchased TV due to the incredible price and even more impressed now that I have used the TV for a month now. Excellent picture, speaker leave a little to be desired (as to be expected), plenty of inputs for my roku.

I have purchased multiple chromecasts, dating back to the original generation 1. This is the second Chromecast Ultra I have purchased. I highly recommend these devices for your streaming needs.

I am using this new Chromecast just to mirror my laptop screen to my TV with Chrome browser in my office. Works great. I have older version that I still use for streaming (still works good).

I have the original Chromecast HDMI dongle, and that worked really well, but this new version is really smooth as butter. I would really recommend it to anyone looking to add Chromecasting functionality to their HDTV.

My parents are not very tech savvy and absolutely love the ease of use with the Chromecast. They are now able to use apps and cast their favorite shows from overseas right onto their living room tv.

I've mostly used it for streaming twitch to a dumb TV and that works perfect. Can get a little jumpy trying to cast large files to it, but that's what the more expensive Chromecast is for so not surprised.

Very good, cost effective streamer. Minimum functionality but good value for money.

Install is very easy in theory but linking to the Chromecast network via Wifi is very stubborn. Took many tries to setup via wifi. Once set up it works great but make sure that Chromecast and your phone app are using the same wifi network. Picture quality is very good.

i think 4.5 is correct it is not perfect, but it is handy when i want to access and watch all sorts of web-based content that can't be done with the Roku. I like my Roku for different reasons and I like having both,

I had a group over for a little party and everyone was able to cast music videos ad hoc. It was really fun with everyone being able to cast one song after another from 6 different phones.

This is a great device to have if you have other Google/Android devices. Works great to stream anything to a TV via a laptop, phone or tablet. Can't beat it for the price. I'm it will also get better as time goes on.

Slightly different than the old model in that it needs to be plugged in, but having the ability to stream tv shows and movies from my phone to my tv is great. Definitely a great buy if you're looking to cut the cord.

Google chromecast is one of the most awesome product in such a low price available. I've connected this with my google home and it is doing all kinds of wonder like Google photos, youtube, Netflix and many more.
