Many devices can stream from the standard providers, NetFlix, etc., but my family uses it mainly to stream directly from our devices. It works flawlessly and is easy to set up. Strong recommendation.

Red hot spot on my phone I can now have computer access and use my phone for my TV as a remote. It's very easy to use and easy to set up. Now I could watch movies and TV shows and YouTube things on to my TV.

I have an older LCD TV and does not have the smart capabilities, so using Google Chromecast allows me to use my phone to watch YouTube, Netflix, and many other things on my TV. It was very easy to set up!

I've tried the old one before and this is just as great!

I brought this because i usually find myself watching Netflix most of the time and i don't have a smart TV. i hate to watch it on my laptop or connect through HDMI. Using Chromecast now i can just browse through my phone which has made it so easy for me. I love it.

I bought this as a gift for my parents and they love it.

I purchased this to use with my google home. For that purpose, its ok. Nice to turn the tv on and play youtube and some music app. You can't tell it to start amazon prime and some other apps. It was nice to be able to cast certain things like fb videos or pictures from my tablet or cell phone. But other than that, I hardly use it. I mostly use my Roku box when watching movies from netflix or hulu or any other apps. Its much faster than the using a phone or tablet then casting what I want to watch. Personally I prefer a physical remote more so than using my phone to control the tv. For the price, I would recommend it as a secondary device for your tv if you can afford it. If not, skip this and get either roku or fire stick.

I had the older version of the chromecast and it started giving me problems and would not connect to my Google Home. This one worked right out of the box and the setup was easy. Great product.

I bought this mainly to mirror my laptop on the TV screen and it's awesome to be able to see it on the big screen. An added benefit is that I can now access Pandora and other streaming services on my non-smart TV.

I purchased the Chromecast as recommended by a friend to allow the streaming of Netflix and the results have been great. I would highly recommend this product for an early model (non Smart) Television.

Enjoying my Chromecast! Recently got a Google home so wanted to be able to maximize some of the functions. The Chromecast has worked seemlessly. Can't wait for more apps to be compatible with the home.

The google cast was super easy to set up. It's absolutely perfect if you don't have a smart tv, just plug it in to the back of your tv and there's tons of ways to watch movies and television shows. Great buy!

Awesome product and streaming is good. The following option is really hepful...included power adapter isn't really necessary as long as you have a powered USB Port on your TV to plug it in to.

Works well most of the time. I could cast my Youtube video to watch my video on big TV. Occasionally I had to reboot the device when it went into a bad state. It happens... but I can live with it. I had the same issue with Apple TV too.
