It is another nice neat product from Google, I had high hopes about streaming all the content of my phone 1:1 but it doesn't work in that way. Don't get me wrong, it is a nice product and does a good job streaming content, however there were a few things I didn't like, for example, when streaming videos from YouTube, the videos aren't in HD, they look very pix-elated or the image is kind of irregular, I prefer to continue watching those videos using my laptop connected to my TV using the HDMI cable. Another thing I don't like is the lack of a remote. It would be easier to use if you could store the apps on the device as well as your phone. I don't regret the purchase, it works OK for what I am using it for. If you have decided to cut the chord and switch to DirecTV Now or something similar make sure that the device you purchase to use with it supports it...

I like the way it works. But last few days i am having trouble with it.

These headphones are very light and comfortable. Service was good, too.

With the google chrome cast I can see movies and listen to music from my cell phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer on my tv and surround sound. It is a great deal and got it on sale for $25.

I changed to directTV and you can't get Netflix on it so I got the ChromeCast. It works great! Plus my MLB app can be cast to the big screen and I can watch my hometown station. I love this thing!!

I picked this unit up because it was on sale and I wanted to stream an app from my android phone that didn't have a roku channel. The chromecast just works, no problems.

For it's price, it works pretty well. You can stream anything from your computer, cellphone or tablet to your TV via Chrome browser. You can also use your google home to voice control your TV.

This is actually my second chrome cast. Loved the first one so i thought it would be great to have it on my other tv. Instantly makes your tv into a smart tv. Easy to use and set up.

We wish we had this earlier to watch NDSU Bison in the football playoffs this fall.

it's fairly easy to set up if you have some basic tech knowledge. it's not as easy to use as other set top devices, because it's completely dependent on individual apps on a separate device.

I use it to stream movies off my phone to a portable projector and it works great, I power it with a portable power bank and use my phones wifi hotspot to stream movies will camping. Works awesome.

The Google Chromecast works great to stream to a tv. We have a mountain cabin that has no TV so we use these to watch our slingbox. Works great. I just wish there were more apps compatible with it.

in the past I had the google Chromecast, It was decent, now I got the new version (Not the 4k edition) and works flawlessly. Easy to connect and setup. Definitely I will buy again another one.

The Chromecast works well for internet streaming, but their is some delay. I really wanted to use it for streaming live video from my tablet, but I couldn't make it work for that purpose, even though the advertising on the box said it would. I would recommend it for internet streaming as long as you can tolerate the latency.

My daughter broke her other google chrome and this purchase was perfect.

Google's chromecast dongle works as advertized. I believe that Google should add Vlc as well as Amazon video support. Amazon's decision not to sell this has probably cannibalized sales. $35 is probably overpriced, should be priced at $25 to promote sales!

It is small which is good for me. It is helpful when it need to use the phone to watch what you want. I hope Google will fine way to make possible to cast from phone chrome.

I bought the original chromecast and could not get a decent picture no matter what I tried. I just hooked this one up and within 30 seconds with no work at all, I was watching true HD off my phone!!!

There is definitely a lot of improvement on this device compared to the previous one.

Really like my chromecast, lets me turn a regular tv into a smart tv. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because you have to use a smartphone or tablet for it to work, you need to cast from your phone to your tv. But other than that it is great.
