I enjoy using my Chromecast, however I have had some problems synching the Chromecast with my laptop. I was also disappointed that the Chromecast extension is only available if you use a Chrome browser. Unfortunately, the Chrome browser does not work on my second laptop, so I can only stream from one of them.

I bought this product for my daughter because we didn’t have cable for her. She absolutely loves to be able to download from her phone and at least watch something on her tv

The Chromecast by Google makes it so easy to watch Netflix and cast anything from my phone or tablet to my big screen. I also take it with me when I travel. Its a great little device.

Easy to set up, easy to connect to and use. I have had no issues connecting my android phone or my ipad tablet. I had the old first generation but it broke due to being jammed while moving, this new style seems like it would prevent that.

Best to way to cut the core, no more paying not of money for cable

My smart TV is around 3 years old. The YouTube app stopped working and the other apps we're getting outdated. The Google Chromecast brought it all back up to date. Great product!

Affordable way to get a smart TV without replacing your current TV or paying for one. I can even stream from the internet without being limited to the selection of apps on the other devices.

Great way to put your netflix on your big screen. If you're considered cutting the cord, this is the easiest way to do it. Send video from your computer or your phone to your tv screen.

I needed an easy way to provide my mother with easy to access entertainment and music. Now she just casts from a dedicated tablet to the TV and connected home theater. A great buy!

This is the second one I bought. Very convenient when cast YouTube and other compatible apps to a bigger screen so the whole family can watch. Fast and easy to set up.

Performs exactly as designed. Doesn't work on 5 Ghz wifi, that's in the instructions. It took me far too long to setup because I didn't read that. This does exactly what it says it will.

I needed a way to access Netflix and other streaming services, and also wanted to be able to show photos and videos from my iphone on the tv. The set up was quite simple and it works as advertised for accessing the main streaming services. Viewing photos and videos from the iphone was another story, though, since it does not work with icloud and apple's photos app. I didn't want to move all my photos (nearly 30,000) to Google photos, but found reviews of an app called photocast that connected the iphone photo app to the chromecast. This is a bit quirky but works well enough to do most of what I wanted. If you mainly use google services for all your video and photo needs, then chromecast is a simple and cheap solution. If not, then maybe look at other devices.

Chromecast is an excellent product for streaming programmes on Youtube, Netflix etc. from your phone/tablet on TV. With its cheap price, the extra investment in smart TVs can be avoided.

So far I am loving this item. I was using a Firestick to access YouTube and needed a new option as of Jan. It is working well and I have access to all of the workouts I want.

If you don't have a TV with App or internet capabilities, you definitely need one of these. These will allow you to stream almost anything from your phone to the TV.

I have own a couple, and gifted a couple too! It's great with fast internet!

a must have for everyone with a big screen tv. you can cast just about anything onto the tv with this device. no more connecting laptop or desktop to your tv for the big experience.

Easy to install and easy to use. I can now view videos posted on YouTube and even Facebook on the "big screen" with no trouble. I haven't yet tried watching movies but that is next.

Works great and so much better than using my laptop and hdmi. I also use to have the roku and I think this is better because I can use my phone instead of trying to find that little remote

Google - Chromecast - Black - performs as advertised. I have it connected to the television and Google Home. The unified Google Home app (android/cellphone) works nicely. I have been able to cast video from every device which I have tried.
