The google chromecast works perfectly for streaming videos from my computer/phone to my tv. It requires minimal setup and it ready to use in a matter of minutes.

We have cut the Cable cord. We use Chromecast for our subscription to YouTube TV. Exceptional quality for all the channels streamed thru Chromecast.

Chromecast has a difficult time maintaining contact with the website. Constant casting to maintain contact. Netflix is better than Amazon Prime but both disconnect at least twice when viewing a 90 minute movie.

I got this specifically to use voice activation through Google Home. I love being able to control Netflix by just speaking. Works great and as long as you have good wifi, the buffering and stream is good.

I have had my chromecast for a while, and purchased one for my Mom. We are a big Netflix family, and it makes it easier to watch on the tv instead of our phones/iPads.

Google Chromecast has been a perfect add on for my second TV. I am able to stream my subscriptions without the headache of an antenna or receiver.

Recently cut the cord with DIRECTV and went to YouTube TV back in November… This was included after your first month free, needed several more for the other televisions so purchase this one as an extra... The only caveat is you must use this in conjunction with a phone app or tablet to cast your streaming media to the associated television that you place this on. For ease of use and a remote, Roku is the better choice, the streaming stick. This way you don't need to cast off of another device. It sufficed at the time, now that Roku is compatible it is my primary choice.

Now that several platforms support casting the Chromecast is by far my favorite media streamer. Controlling everything from my phone or tablet is very convenient.

I had a problem using it to shop my computer screen on my tv.

The Chromecast is an inexpensive, easy-to-use product for people who want to cut cable or expand their viewing. It's easy to install and supports a lot of apps.

Got this for my mom who is by no means tech savy. She was able to plug the chrome cast into the tv and easily get netflix sent from her laptop to her non smart tv.

I had bought another chrome cast awhile ago and it worked so well I had to get another one for my other home. Bought several as Christmas gifts. Am very satisfied

Works well with your google home or can just use it with the app on your phone- cast everything from your mobile device to a tv with the cast plugged in.

I guess it's magic that the Chromecast works at all, but honestly, I'm not all that impressed. It's probably not going to be my device of choice because the features are more or less limited to whatever the tablet or PC can cast, and I can't operate it with my universal remote.

Bought as a gift for my daughter, she loves it :-)
