After linking both to my account on the Google Home app, I can use the Google Home to play videos, music, etc on the projector. Definitely worth it! I like that I don't have to be on the same wifi network as the device to control it from the google assistant. Disclaimer for college students: Make sure these are supported on your campus if getting one for your dorm! My IT department doesn't support them and I had to find a roundabout way to get it working myself.

The bad thing is you always need a smartphone,tablet and pc.

Chromecast works great for netflix
