We had an older chromecast and wanted to update it. This is improved from the last one in that there are fewer disconnects while using sling. However, it still drops off. For uses other than sling, it's probably not bad.

I have the older version of the Chromecast on my bedroom TV and I bought this for my living room TV, I just love the thing. I can cast anything from my phone or tablet to either TV.

The second generation is better than first generation. Appears to be faster. I did not get the third generation since it is more expensive and not sure if would have the need.

This is the second unit I bought, one for the living room and the other one bedroom. They're both great, I highly recommend it.

Works flawlessly with my android phone. I much prefer using chromecast and my phone than the standalone units like Roku (I have one), etc.

Overall this has worked great. I have other streaming devices but I like the ability to use my phone to control what's on the screen.

I wish i could cast my amazon. But i like that i am able to link my google home with it to control it. and no need for a remote either use a phone or voice which is nice.

Google chromecast has gone to the next level with this unique shaped idea. The device is so convenient to handle and very helpful.

I picked up a new Chromecast so that my two year old could watch Youtube Kids. I am very happy with my purchase as it was easy to set up and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

I really didn't need this but it is much more convenient to stream from my phone to the television and with Google Home, I can just tell it what I want to see and it plays... Nice!

So pleased with my new Chromecast. Just plugged into the HDMI port on my television and my iPhone became my remote. Great product.

This is my second device. I haven't used it much, but I can't tell the difference from my old 1st generation vs. this new 2nd generation device. But it works, so can't complain

Super Convenient device! I use it almost everyday. Only complaint is the lag when I'm clicking. Other than that, streaming is on point.

Works great, easy to set up. Allows me to get Netflix and hook up my lap top to view pictures on my big screen TV. Exactly what I wanted.

Chromecast works great to cast music, shows and my phone screen onto my living room TV. Seamless and simple to use. Highly recommend!

Great streaming device. The Google Cast tab on pc is a little laggy but overall a good product.

I started out with the original chromecast but have decided to upgrade and now I have 1 in every TV in the house. They are awesome. I play music and TV and YouTube on them all the time. My dad uses them to show his guests the trips he takes and to cast some other things that hes interested in. I like that they work with chrome so you can cast the browser tab or whole screen from my Chromebook or even my mac to show my customers their webpages. They come in handy all the time. Couldn't be happier with the product.
