I have one of these on each TV. Setup is extremely easy and it enables me to show photos from my phone on my TV.

Great for casting things from the computer, whether it is a simple chrome tab with a video or various media apps from your phone.

Works if you're trying to turn a regular tv into a smart tv. I mostly use it for Netflix.

I have one already and decided to purchase one for my sister. I use it to show items from my iPad on to my big screen television.

Product wise, its working fine, But i noticed that its not useful for normal use like, youtube, netflex ect.. to cast. I recommend you if you have any specific requirements then only you can go for this product.

Works as expected, have been using chrome cast's since they come out, this version is much smoother that then 1st generation.

Bought this for my in-laws. Only took a few minutes to set up and show them how to use it. They have used it every day since.

Had a 1st gen forever and when I got my 2nd TV and got another chrome cast. It just looks better and works better!

in an effort to reduce my monthly bills I picked up a chromecast and stopped paying for television. I was skeptical at first, but I've been pleasantly surprised. I'm able to save an extra $30 a month and in this day and age you can pretty much watch anything on tv online if you look for it or wait a day. the only issue I have is that some days the chromecast isn't recognized, simply fixed by unplugging and plugging back in. the biggest thing to know going in, make sure you have google chrome installed as a browser on your computer, it helps streamline the viewing process rather than using firefox, explorer, safari, etc.

I would not tell someone not to get it as the price point is great to get your TV connected streaming app content. It does lack worthy interface to call it's own and relys on the Google Home app and the individual apps (Like Netflix, Crunchyroll, etc.) on your devices to manage content. Compared to Apple TV's user interface Chromecast is pale in comparison but... comparing price points $35 vs $140+ I'll take the inconvenience of Chromecast and save over $100 and put that toward the AWESOME Google Home.

I didn't know much about this until the salesperson explained it to me. Now I am thinking of getting rid of cable! I love it.

This is an excellent product!! It actually is just as good if not better than tithe Anazon firestick and it's less expensive!!
