This item makes streaming from phone to tv so easy that anyone who doesn't have a smart tv should purchase one.

I needed a new chromecast because the older one started to give me some issues. New one works great no problems.

Installation was rough. No where in the indtructions does it say that 2 cell phones are required for the install in order to run from a phone hot spot. Verry confusing. Had to call help desk. Took an hour to set up. The casting properties are pretty good but the picture on the tv stops periodically. Sometimes alot. Also sometimes does not synch. The phone needs to be restarted, the hot spot turned on THEN the tv can be turned on and the channel selected where the Chromecast is connected to. If you are willing yo go through all this, get one.

It works as it should. Streaming does not seem to have any lag if played via internet. You you cast phone screen on the TV directly, it seems to have some lag.

The Chromecast is really the best way to watch TV, using your smartphone as remote-control. I love it!!!

Needed a way to watch MLB games while I was traveling. Chromecast was easy to install/setup and very easy to use.

The Chrome cast is a great product if you don't have a smart TV. You can mirror your phone or tablet to the TV.

Works very well. Quirky in settings where you don't have a router with its own internet connection (like using a phone for data), but there are workarounds.

I wasn't able to figure things out because there was no documentation on how it works. Just plug it in to your TV HDMI outlet and go. I think YouTube has a better explanation on how to get the channels you want
